This time incorporating gingerbread tipi cakes, macrame and dried flowers and linens to their signature style. Plus the most beautiful lace gowns from Rock The Frock and a fabulous drinks trailer. Nude Bohemian Wedding Inspiration with Dried Flowers & Macrame

Jenna, Stationer & Shoot Coordinator: I love the bohemian trend; my brand is built on it. And I love the style of wedding photography in the US combined with their approach to boho wedding styling. As such, I wanted to combine that unique American flavour with a British take on a bohemian wedding. Typically, boho weddings are synonymous with either darker shades or really vibrant, festival colours. However, I wanted to explore a more nude version of boho, utilising lots of creams, white, browns, greens and neutral tones. I had worked with Kelsie Low previously and knew her style of photography would perfectly capture the vision I had in mind.

Boho Decor & Styling

We wanted to focus on three main installations with a number of smaller setups. We wanted the wow factor, and we wanted drama and impact. Anthology Vintage Hire had just finished their huge wooden backdrop made from reclaimed wood; perfect for an outdoor or indoor wedding. Utilising this as a framing backdrop to our tablescape, Mia Sylvia swathed one end in her beautiful, creamy natural dyed fabrics, whilst Emma Spowage created a massive, pampas and hop-filled installation in the opposing corner. The Rock The Day team styled the tablescape with a striking rust-dyed runner by Mia Sylvia, a hop garland foraged by Emma Spowage and their beautiful collection of candlesticks, brass deer and tableware. The table looked abundant and best of all, bohemian and natural. Rock The Day continued their speciality of bohemian styling throughout the shoot; dressing the two other main installations...the Bedouin style low table at the tipi entrance and the breathtaking a-frame setup which flanked the amazing drinks trailer from cool new kids on the block, The White Mule. All the reclaimed and salvaged furniture was provided by Anthology Vintage Hire, including all the wooden tables, benches, rugs, sofas, wooden backdrop and a-frame. Rock The Day injected their macrame into various setups, including the altar backdrop.

Wedding Stationery

Lastly, I wanted to steer away from my usual floral style for this shoot and go a little lunar/celestial with my stationery. I maintained a nod to my aesthetic by including dreamcatchers and succulent wreaths​ but also included moon phase illustrations, tassels and feather/antler charms. I created a full suite with the usual invite, information card and rsvp, but instead of a typical booklet style order of service, I played with the festival lanyard concept and created five A6 sheets which were attached by a lanyard of twine. I also created a large scale banner which we styled as part of the wooden backdrop, tablescape setup. This was printed on organic cotton canvas and included big tassels in varying colours in the corners.
