Inspiration

The bride is not only wearing a beautiful Paloma Blanca wedding dress for this stunning celebration, but she is also wearing the biggest smile in every single one of the portraits by the talented Francessca Hill Photography! After the ceremony at the family church, the newlyweds took a vintage white car to the bright marquee reception that had been decorated with hoop wedding decor, foliage table runners and wooden wedding signs (made by the bride's father!). The bride wasn't afraid to get stuck in either, with some DIY decor, spray painting hoops and making the foliage table decor, which helped create the garden party vibe! The newly opened (at the time!) picture-perfect wedding venue, Gileston Manor, in South Wales was the perfect choice for this summer celebration!

What Made Our Day Unique

The wedding ceremony was in our family church in South Wales holding so many memories, we even had my cousins on trumpet and piano. We stumbled across a new wedding venue close to the church and knew it was the one. We were the third ever wedding there and felt right at home with the lovely people and animals around the grounds, with the sea glistening in the distance, we will definitely be going back for our first anniversary. We wanted to bring the west-country with us so finished the night off with our Bath ‘Cheesecake’ and cider!

Paloma Blanca Wedding Dress

The beautiful bride started the day off in a full Paloma Blanca wedding dress, however, not being able to pick between two dresses for the big day, she then had an outfit change and swapped to a more form fitting open back dress, meaning there was absolutley nothing stopping her dancing the night away with the friends and family! The groom looked equally fabulous in a bespoke suit made by a family friend with matching bowties to his groomsmen!

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted a summer garden party vibe and ended up with a beautiful sunny weekend in July. Our guests came the night before and we enjoyed the gardens whilst eating alfresco! We are big foodies so wanted to wow the guests, we chose welsh beef with a selection of summer salads with all the toppings you could think of. I wanted to make as much as I could to make our day personal, I spray painted hoops, decorated with florals, created all of the table decorations and collected loads of gold candlesticks!
