After taking a year to decide on their destination elopement, through their mutual love of travelling Brooke and Adam settled on the ever timeless Paris, the city of amour, which is quite fitting for these college sweethearts who met ten years ago. They choose the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel with its beautifully decorated rooms dripping in gold as their wedding venue, complimenting it with black flowers and small details. Both Brooke and Adam looked nothing but chic in their black-tie attire, giving all the captures by Claire Morris Photography an old Hollywood glamour feel, which is the perfect way to describe our bride and groom and their adorable Paris elopement.

What Made Our Day Unique

Although Paris is not known for being sunny in October, the days leading up to our wedding were unseasonably warm and absolutely gorgeous for that time of year. On our wedding day we woke up to overcast skies, wet weather, and a big drop in temperature, I was so down. Adam assured me it would be okay and we'd make the best of it. In the end, it turned out better than okay. The rain cleared up just in time for pictures around the city and ready for our outdoor ceremony. For dinner, we had originally planned to be served outside on the terrace but it was moved inside into the Shangri-La's incredible Grand Salon. We ended up having the entire space to ourselves and it truly could not have been a more magical setting. - Brooke & Adam

Paris Elopement

Ahh, Paris the city of love, where romance and sophistication go hand in hand, just like our adorable couple as they take in the sights and pose for pictures in front of the monumental Eiffel Tower and River Seine. And just like the famous line in the Hollywood classic, Casablanca, this adorable couple will be able to say "We'll always have Paris." Major swoon.
