Pastel Pink & Mint Green Wedding at Granary Estates Suffolk

Beth & Adam: We really wanted to find a venue that didn’t have lots of rules and restrictions as we wanted to get really creative with our day and have everything we love as part of our day. Adam found the Granary Estates while browsing online and I knew as soon as he showed me that it would be perfect. During our drinks reception, we had a ‘Gin Bar’ and a ‘Champagne and Oyster Bar’. The styling was full of blush pink/gold/mint green colours whilst still slightly rustic and in keeping with the venue. Our table setting was much the same. We had gold beaded charger plates and gold cutlery and personalised shot glasses. The Granary Barn had soft drapes and fairy lights all around which looked amazing both during the day and night.

Mini Golf & Glitter Bar, Wedding Entertainment

During our drinks reception, we had personalised mini golf provided by Pure Mini Golf which was great fun. Each ‘hole’ was an event in our life and it was all personalised and right in the middle of the beautiful courtyard. In the evening we had the Cambridge Glitter Bar set up a ‘Glitter Bar’ for people to get glitzy for party time! We weren’t sure if people would get involved but our guests were queuing there before the bar had even opened! It was so lovely to see 'sparkle' on everyone’s faces!

Gospel Choir Wedding Ceremony

We had the incredible CK Gospel Choir sing during our service. They performed ‘Kissing you’ by Des'ree for the Bride’s entrance. We chose that as we love the film, Romeo and Juliet. During the signing of the register, they sang ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ by Steve Wonder and ‘Stand by Me’ by Ben E King. All our guests were clapping and singing along, it was a very happy lively church! As we left the church as the new Mr & Mrs Davis they sang ‘All you need is love’ by the Beatles. I’ve always dreamed of walking out to that song after seeing Love Actually when I was 14! We also had two hymns during the service, Lord of all Hopefulness and Jerusalem. We were very pleasantly surprised to hear all our guests singing during the hymns! Our readings were ‘I carry your Heart with me’ by EE Cummings. We both love this reading as it has very touching words. The other reading was a biblical reading, ‘The Song of Solomon’.

Confetti Cannon First Dance

We had OJ’s Motown Band as our evening entertainment and they were incredible! We LOVE Motown so we had ‘My girl’ by the Temptations as our first dance. We had two confetti canyons go off during our first dance which was so fun and creates amazing photos!
Hands up who pinned all the pretty and made an abundance of notes? If you're looking to create your own perfect confetti cannon moment, RMW has already done the hard work for you with our fabulous article.
