This modern take on classic elegance feels like the perfect way to round off the weekend. And while the fashion is very much contemporary (from our favourites at Mirror Mirror Couture) stepping into the Waldorf Astoria Hotel is like stepping back in time, the art deco staircase, the white marble, the glass panelling - it's heavenly, so opulent and regal. This inspiration shoot is the perfect combination of old meets new and so if you're a bride who wants to embrace tradition but with a modern edge, you're going to love it. Images come from Inna at And Your Story whose soft, fine art style is absolutely dreamy. I love how Inna has captured the hair and beauty for this shoot, the whole look is incredible romantic and feminine.
Inna The Photographer: I was inspired to produce bridal editorial I am submitting today by the beauty of the Art Deco architecture. After looking at several venues, my team and I decided to photograph at the Palm Court - marble ballroom, a jewel, inside the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in London. The tapestries, marble floor, and glass ceiling details take us back in time to the prosperity of the late 1920s in London. Streamlined marble architecture of the spacious ballroom is offset by the gentle elegance and soft grace of the bride. Our shoot brought together exceptional vendors and it features accessories and gowns from designers represented by one of London’s top bridal boutiques - Mirror & Mirror Couture. Visually, the story is about tension created by the timeless elegance of the Palm Court and gentle youth of the bride. Can you hear the gentle sound of a harp in the background as you look at the images?
