A rustic, romantic fairytale day for this beautiful bride in a blush pink wedding dress and her dashing groom. Deep in the Oxfordshire countryside, Tythe Barn played host to this charming celebration for the childhood sweethearts, with sequin bridesmaids dresses and a reception draped with fairy lights, all topped off with a sparkler exit at midnight. This wedding definitely had a twinkle to it! With personalised wedding vows and speeches from friends and family, there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Pass the tissues!
What Made Our Day Unique
We put a lot of effort into making sure the day was incredibly family-oriented. Billie's brother performed the ceremony, his son wrote a story that he read out and Billie's mum read the lyrics from "For Good" from the musical WICKED which both of us love. We wrote our own vows for the ceremony and we had beautiful speeches from our family and friends during the wedding breakfast. Moments like those make the day so incredibly special and make it feel personal to you as a couple. We felt so lucky to have such an incredible group of people at our side!
Pink Wedding Dress
The bride proved, in her pink wedding dress, that brides don't have to wear traditional white to look exquisite on their big day. The lace detail, long-sleeved, blush bride dress with a tulle skirt was the perfect choice for this romantic day, all finished off with long wavy hair and a flower crown of white roses! Framed beautifully by the bridesmaids also in blush dresses, apart from the brides-man who wore a sequin suit!Inspiration & Styling
We really wanted the day to feel like home. The Tythe Barn felt like that from the first time we visited due to how accommodating and enthusiastic they were about their venue. We couldn't wait to share it with our friends and family. From there it was really easy to style because it feels so rustic on its own without having to add too much. We love American barn weddings which are incredibly intimate and simple so that the day can be focussed on what's really important. Both our rings and Billie's dress were from America and so that was our was to incorporate the States!
