Plan Your Perfect Day at Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter

Planning a wedding needs organisation and inspiration – and there’s no better place to find help with both than at a great wedding show.

Bride: The Wedding Show at Westpoint Arena, Exeter, on October 10 and 11 is one of the biggest and the best, with around 150 exhibitors and experts covering every aspect of weddings.

Now in its sixth successful year, the show is better than ever, with a host of exhibitors showcasing their talents. From cake-makers to bridal boutiques, travel experts to florists; the event hosts every possible wedding expert, all willing to spend the time to get to know you and offer the best advice for your wedding.

Live entertainment throughout the weekend includes performances from Top Brass, The Swing Kings, The Devon Wedding Singer and Philip Smythe. Magician Dan Brazier will show off his tricks and visitors can try out fun photobooths from South West Photo Booths, Kookybooths and Crazy Little Booths.

Wedding painter Charlotte Atkinson displays her watercolour paintings, and new to the show is Papier Bloom with paper flower bouquets for the bride looking for something a little different as well as The Dance Shed who choreograph first dances and wedding party routines.

The spectacular choreographed fashion show, which runs three times daily at 11.30am, 1.15pm and 3pm, is acknowledged as the best in the business and is guaranteed to have the crowd cheering, whooping and aah-ing. The professional models show off the latest wedding styles in an entertaining performance which combines music and dance. There will be gowns by Sassi Holford, Te Amo Brides, Serenity, The Ivory Secret and Kate Walker, bridesmaids dresses by Jane’s and groomswear from Moss Bros, Jonathan Hawkes and Youngs Hire.

If you’re in need of refreshment after all the looking and talking, Posh Nosh is running the café, there’s a champagne bar by Event Bars SW, and Buen Apetito Weddings will be cooking paella and giving out samples, along with Vagabonds Milkshake.

Don’t forget to pick up your free copy of South West Bride magazine which is packed full of inspiration, top tips, advice and real life wedding stories. If you arrive early, you may be one of the first 100 brides through the doors who will get a free goody bag and lots of the exhibitors will be offering discounts, competitions to enter and giving out samples from their stands too. The first 10 brides through the doors from 2pm each day will be presented with a fizz voucher – to lend even more sparkle to the occasion.

Bride: The Wedding Show is at Westpoint Arena, Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX5 1DJ on 10 and 11 October, from 10am to 4pm. See more and get tickets at www.theweddingshow.co.uk/westpoint-wedding-show
