Inspiration

This adventurous couple planned their wedding in the UK from Australia and didn't see their venue until 3 days before! Luckily, the Suffolk wedding venue they picked, The Tudor Barn, is stunning so they had absolutely nothing to worry about! A relaxed affair with friends and family who traveled near and far to see this beautiful couple tie the knot! Rustic vibes, boho decor, wooden signs and beautiful flowers, including a gorgeous Protea bouquet, were on hand to make the day extra special! There was even a swing dancer surprise during the couple's first dance!

What Made Our Day Unique

I know it's really cliche to say but it really was the most wonderful magical day EVER! As we now live permanently in Australia and have done for a few years now (my husband is Australian) it was just amazing to have the wedding back home in the UK with all my family and friends that we hadn't seen for years. To make it that extra special all of our Australian family and friends from also over the planet flew over just to see us get hitched and not to miss out on the one hell of a party that it was (I swear we are all still recovering!) It was also the perfect day for all friends and families from both sides of the globe to meet for the first time!

Protea Bouquet

The bride beamed as she hopped on the double-decker red bus to take her to the wedding in a low back, long-sleeved, Grace Loves Lace dress. Her look was completed with white bridal boots, tousled hair, a flower crown fit for a queen and a Protea bouquet. Accompanied by her closest girls who wore grey bridesmaid dresses, the bride met her groom under a wooden arch for their outdoor ceremony to become husband and wife!

Inspiration & Styling

We knew we wanted the wedding back home purely for the fact so see family and friends we had not seen in years and a great opportunity for the Aussies to come over and visit Europe! The most important thing to us is music and being outdoors, Traveling and family. We had everything from native English/Australian flowers to the ceremony being outdoors to having a Tudor Barn that's built in the 1600s a London Bus take us all to the wedding made it feel very English, vintage and unique! To avoid the wedding blues we had Buddy moon rather than a honeymoon so 8 our closest friends all traveled around Europe for a month a day after the wedding!
