Inspiration

A Midsummer's Night Dream inspired garden ceremony with deep purple bridesmaid dresses, a marquee dripping in foliage and the most beautiful Moongate we ever did see! The Bride’s family home was the venue of choice for this enchanted celebration. A traditional wedding cake, a cheese tower, an oyster bar and a jukebox where the guests could choose their own tunes, the couple definitely made sure there was something for everyone on their big day!

WHAT MADE OUR DAY UNIQUE

"Our registrar said that every wedding is different and every wedding is special – we definitely agree! We had the ‘legal’ bit on a separate day, and this meant that this second special day could be personalised in every single way. What was truly special for us was being able to have these celebrations at Sarah’s family home, such an amazing setting in beautiful grounds, and having so many family and friends from all over the world. There was real attention to detail (all down to the Bride, says Dan) that just made it perfect." - Sarah & Dan

Purple Bridesmaid Dresses

The purple bridesmaid dresses and wild bouquets complimented the floral Moongate beautifully to bring the bride's vision to life. Everything at this wedding was personalised - the bride's Aunt was even the celebrant, creating an incredibly thoughtful and touching ceremony. Sarah’s ideas all stemmed from one image on Pinterest - we definitely think there will be a lot of inspiration from this wedding so get those thumbs ready to pin!

INSPIRATION & STYLING

"Sarah found an image on Pinterest and that set the start of everything. Dan would call it ‘English Country Garden Marquee Wedding’ (apparently) but for Sarah, it was ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’. That was certainly the theme for the decorating - we had dreamy flower meadows for the aisles, and foliage ‘trees’ and flower ‘fields’ for the reception. Important to us both apart from the overall ‘look’, however, was fabulous food and delicious drink. Our amazing suppliers made this happen in every aspect of our day and somehow turned a very vague brief into something magical." - Sarah & Dan

The aisle decor is one of the first things that the guests will see when attending a wedding and these flowers did not disappoint. Sarah & Dan chose Jasper & Quinn to provide the flowers and foliage for their big day and we absolutely love them - that is why they are one of our handpicked suppliers on the RMW supplier directory.
