Wedding Vibe
We both have quite a neutral style so it wasn’t very colourful. My bridesmaid's dresses were white and Pynes house itself is decorated in neutrals, which is one of the reasons we chose it. I think (hope) the vibe of the day was relaxed, fun with good music, food and drink. A lot of people said it felt like we were in Italy as it was such a hot day and because of the beautiful grounds. We had lots of garden games set up in the rose garden. One of our friends also did a quiz for us during the wedding breakfast as we both love quizzes. It was great fun. We then had a band called The String Beans/Full Beans who played outside as it was such a hot evening and they were amazing.
Pynes House
Pynes House has been the gorgeous location for many a styled shoot featured on RMW, but seeing the real wedding of Sinead & Russell has made me love it even more. Especially that they held their ceremony in the entrance hall with its high ceilings, luxurious decor and the doors flung open so you can enjoy the views. They made full use of the beautiful gardens too with outdoor games and even taking their first dance by the fountain. It's certainly a country house wedding venue to rival most.Wedding Ceremony
We were both a bit nervous about the ceremony however it was really lovely. We decided to have it in the entrance stairway at Pynes House and were so glad we chose it there as it was such a hot day and it felt a bit more intimate with all of our guests looking down on us. We asked two couples that we are friends with to perform a song instead of a reading, and asked them to choose the song so it would be a surprise for us. They were both so amazing and were definitely one of the highlights of the day. The songs were Blur - Tender & Eva Cassidy - Songbird.
