Product Description
The Dress
This is a stunning ivory lace and taffeta silk gown with an asymmetric line and fitted bodice with exquisite French Chantilly lace, moulded on bust with taffeta textured detail. It has a lace fishtail skirt and dramatic Chantilly lace bolero. It is the Maldives design from Caroline Castigliano's current Opulent collection.
I had it fitted to my shape which is a size 10 with 34C bust. I am 5.3 and wore 3 inch heel shoes. I purchased it from the Knightsbridge store with the matching Chantilly lace Bolero. It retails for £3,950. I also purchased an incredible vintage lace veil to match for £495, which I am prepared to sell for £250 too.
I wore it on my incredible Gloucestedhire wedding day in May 2015. I have also had it specially cleaned in Caroline Castigliano's recommended wedding dress dry cleaners and it looks as good as new. The lace trim has slightly come away on the bottom but it just needs securing with a few stitches and I am happy to have it repaired if I have a genuine offer. The rest of the dress is in immaculate condition.
I am very sad to be parting with it as it is very special and unique and I felt amazing in it on the best day of my life but I am not doing it any justice packed up in a box and hope to be able to sell it to someone who will love it as much as I did.
