Inspiration

A Springtime fusion wedding at a beautiful boutique hotel with colourful flowers and vibrant red bridesmaid dresses. The bride looked gorgeous and surprised the groom by wearing a traditional gold dress for their big day, the first time he had seen her in this attire in person! The couple enjoyed an intimate ceremony with emotional speeches and readings from their nearest and dearest. Luckily, by the time the April showers made an appearance, the wedding party were already indoors enjoying the delicious wedding breakfast, a slice of cake and listening to a playlist of the couples favourite RnB artists!

What Made Our Day Unique

We've been together a long time and shared most aspects of wedding planning. But of course, the bridal outfit was kept secret. The wedding day itself, was the first time Nick had seen me in traditional wear (in person). It was an exciting moment for both of us, because it made the day feel so much more magical and added an extra wow factor to the already special reveal at the end of the aisle.

Karishma & Nicholas

Red Bridesmaid Dresses

The couple wanted to bring a bit of Karishma's heritage to the day, so they chose to traditional reds and golds, with red bridesmaid dresses, the traditional bride dress with henna tattoos and pops of colour in the wedding flower arrangements that decorated the tables and bouquets! The Old Vicarage Boutique Hotel in Southwell was the perfect backdrop for this multicultural wedding and beautiful bride and groom!

Inspiration & Styling

Our day was very much as 'fusion' approach, we had so many aspects of our personalities that we wanted to bring to life on the day. We wanted everything to be very classic, elegant and timeless. We added bursts of culture and colour to introduce some of Karishma's heritage into the day - we did this through the bridal outfit, bridesmaids dresses and our floral arrangements, with traditional gold, reds and other complimentary pops of colour.
