What Made Our Day Unique
Unfortunately, Nath's father passed away unexpectedly the year before our wedding – so I felt it was important to still have him be a part of our day however I could. I had our stationer make a sign dedicated to him and placed it in a frame on the front row of seats next to the groomsmen, where I knew Nath would have wanted him to be. Nath's step mum, Claire, also lent me the diamond earrings which she had worn at their 10-year renewal of vows and their daughter Emma was my flower girl – so it all felt very poignant.
Red Floral Architecture
Sometimes you just have to go big or go home, and Charlotte and Nathans floral installation by Red Floral Architecture is definitely big! Drawing everyone's eye to the central top table and looking incredible in their marquee reception at RMW recommended wedding venue, Iscoyd Park. There are plenty more monumental wedding flower arrangements decorating the country house, including tree centrepieces, floral table runners and staircase flowers, so get those pinning fingers ready!Inspiration & Styling
The vibe of our wedding was very much classic and sophisticated styling but with a bit of a wow factor - from our flowers. I stuck to a colour scheme of ivory, greens and gold throughout. I'm very much about neutrals and doing basics well with my style and in our home generally, so this was just a progression of that really.
Favourite Moment Of The Day
Our favourite moment of the day was probably when everyone gathered together to watch us cut the cake. The master of ceremonies turned away from us and announced it and so we went for it and cut through - only for him to then start counting down from 3 to 1 – we had to quickly drag the knife back out and pretend to cut the cake again. We found it hilarious and there are some great photos of the moment.
