Inspiration

We didn't think we could love Winter weddings any more than we already do, then we see this celebration with a beautiful bride in a Riki Dalal wedding dress and totally amazing flowers and we fall even more in love! The day started with a civil ceremony where large tassel balloons floated above the guests and the groom saw his bride for the first time. This was followed by a romantic wedding breakfast decorated in gorgeous floral installations and lit up by the hundreds of candles lining the tables and the neon 'Til Death Do Us Party' wedding sign. Other modern monochrome signs were dotted about the venue bringing a contemporary element to the otherwise classic celebration. Iscoyd Park - one of our handpicked suppliers - was the perfect backdrop to this Winter celebration.

What Made Our Day Unique

The venue and boutique suppliers we used are what made our day unique - Iscoyd Park feels like a home from home. We fell in love with Iscoyd the moment we stepped foot inside, the tasteful decor, the calming scented candles, the crackle of the open fires – beautiful! Everyone, from the staff to our makeup/hair artist and photographer, were professional, yet fun – it felt like one big family get-together.

Riki Dalal Wedding Dress

The bride teamed her bespoke lace, long sleeved Riki Dalal wedding dress with an oversized bouquet of flowers and foliage in seasonal tones of reds, creams and greens. The flowers as a whole were most definitely a highlight of the day, from the staircase decor to the hanging floral installation above the square wedding breakfast tables, they complemented the venue and the season perfectly! The bride teamed her bespoke dress with a half up half down hairstyle created by the talented Wildflower Hair Company - another of our excellent handpicked suppliers - that looked beautiful with the deep green foliage crown!

Inspiration & Styling

We wanted a cosy winter wedding with over-the-top, fun florals. Iscoyd Park is beautiful on it's own, so I worked with Red Floral to design flower arrangements which had a boho-feel, but without looking like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards. Besides the florals, I didn't do any other styling - Iscoyd was the perfect backdrop to set it all off.
