Nothing was going to rain on this couple’s parade and even though the sun wasn’t shining the brides Riki Dalal wedding dress gave us all something to smile about! A London couple heading back to the Bride’s home in Northumberland to tie the knot in a beautiful church ceremony and a marquee reception, in this oh so beautiful setting! A romantic celebration with endless candles, high rise greenery, fresh herbs and singing surprises!
What Made Our Day Unique
Living in London, it was so special to have our wedding at my family home in Northumberland where my family have lived for generations. It was the most beautiful setting and to have all our guests travel from London & all over the world to come and spend the weekend with us was amazing. We had few surprises up our sleeves for each other including a 'Love Actually style' singing performance of 'I say a little prayer for you' kicked off by a slightly out of tune best man in the church and followed by professional singers mingled into the congregation standing up and singing. Total surprise and certainly calmed our nerves in the church and got us ready to party!

The Riki Dalal wedding dress is adorned with 3D embellishment at the top and along the sleeves. However…when the evening came around the sleeves were removed and gentle thin straps were revealed to sit with the plunging neckline. Perfect for the Bride to dance the night away with her new husband, friends and family! And the blush bouquet and bridesmaid dresses tied everything together perfectly!Inspiration & Styling
We wanted the day to be relaxed, full of laughter, music, great food & drink and mostly love. It was really important for us to ensure our guests who travelled to us had a seamless experience from welcome goodie bags in their hotels and transport provided to where they needed to go for the whole weekend. Wedding & Events Floral Design were amazing to help us to create the most beautiful botanical setting with endless candles, high rise greenery, fresh herbs and beautiful finishing touches. We also wanted beautiful flowers to scent and decorate the church and marquee.

There was a lot of DIY hard work in the run-up to the wedding, my Dad was obsessed with mowing the lawn to make it perfect for the big day, my mum and sister in law were making homemade confetti months in the run-up and planting flowers in troughs to ensure they flowered at the perfect time!
