Inspiration & Styling
We were serious wedding-planning novices at the beginning of this process. We’re now so experienced that you can feel free to hire us to plan your big day! Just kidding. We were guided by our love for nature, and wanted a rustic, romantic bush setting. When we saw Audley Dance Hall, it ticked every box.
Rosa Clara Wedding Dress
Hands up who loves the beaded art deco detailing on Brittany's Rosa Clara wedding dress? I do, I do. The delicate flowing gown with wonderful customised low back adds a touch of glamour to the stunning wilderness of Sydney's Royal National Park. Complementing the park, even more, are the wonderful wild wedding flowers. Kudos to Brittany's close friend Shanna who made her stunning bridal bouquet. The mixture of flowers, foliage and dried grasses is most definitely a heady combination. What Made Our Day Unique
Our ceremony was planned to be outside on the river, nearby Audley Dance Hall. It was pouring and storming all day, then miraculously just before the ceremony, the clouds parted and we were able to have the outdoor bush ceremony that we so wanted. There was dappled sunlight, tiny black baby birds waddling around us as we said our vows, a couple of people in a rowboat in the river behind us trying to sneak a closer look at the action – perfection! Audley Dance Hall was a quick walk from our ceremony location. Guests enjoyed canapés and drinks on the balcony followed by a sit down shared-plate style dinner on long wooden tables. The slow-cooked lamb was a standout!
