I think I have a very healthy obsession with this gorgeously styled deep red and gold wedding in Milan.
Le Mille e una Nozze wedding planners added SO many amazing details. Using every inch of the industrial space at Officine del volo to its best potential. The festoon lights are fabulous, the terrarium’s chic and the blooms are literally out of this world. Plus I have never seen a table of food looking so delicious. If you haven’t had lunch yet, we’re sorry for all the drooling that may occur.
Bride & Groom Silvia & Marcello both work in the music industry and as you can imagine are super cool. Their wedding outfits are divine. Especially Silvia’s boho lace gown which she completed with a flower crown and the most stylish pair of gold glitter Topshop heels.
All of this loveliness has been captured by Lisa Digiglio. Enjoy.
Wedding Planner: When Silvia and Marcello met Ilaria of Le mille e una nozze wedding planning for the first time they have decided their wedding location.
It was Officine del Volo, a beautiful location that in the past was a factory of airplanes, the Caproni Factory, in Milan.
They wanted a boho chic wedding, with a buffet lunch, rock but romantic too. They both work in musical field and they had clear ideas and a real modern taste.
The colour they loved was burgundy with some gold touch, so I started to design and plan their wedding according to their brief. I thought immediately to call Sofia de Il Profumo dei Fiori who has a perfect boho style! She decorated two long tables with flowers, candles and vintage jars.
Anemones, roses, dahlias and lishiatus were the fundamental flowers.
On the 2nd April 2016, Silvia and Marcello got married in Milano, at Palazzo Reale in the morning, and then they and their guests reached the venue.
For catering we chose Surplace catering for its kind of kitchen alternative and international at the same time: Falafel and yogurt, pea and mint pureed soups, cheese platters with marmalade, meatball and lasagna composed the multicolored menu.
Stationery was designed by a friend of Silvia and Marcello, Cristina Stashkevich, who made a portrait of them and another friend, Irene Oriani, made the graphic.
The favor was really special: Silvia and Marcello asked to the artist Elena Borghi to design a heart and then they made lithography to give their guests.
The after party was animated by a Silvia and Marcello’s friend who is a famous dj in Bologna.
