Inspiration

Bonjour you lovely readers! We are super excited to bring you the colourful and elegant, South of France wedding of Shannon and Amaury, set in a private house in French Riviera. You'll be swooning over the scenery, dreamy gowns and florals, plus the most adorable bottle table plan you'll be fighting your self to make before the weeks out!

French Riviera

Before starting planning Amaury and I both had envisioned a long weekend celebrating in Amaury's home in the South of France with family and friends. We wanted an opportunity for all the people we love to meet, make new friends, all while enjoying the simple pleasures the Cote d'Azur has to offer. Our colour palette mixed blush, coral and peach with pops of berry and was accented with touches of green, gold, and ivory. Our style vision was what the French call "champêtre." We envisioned a relaxed and romantic atmosphere highlighted by the charm and beauty of the south of France. The venue and its views were the true highlights of our wedding. While weddings are a ton of work and certainly take a village, the day goes by so so fast. Try to enjoy the time and experience and remember the day is wonderful, but it's really about celebrating starting a life together with your partner.

South of France Wedding

Made In You literally turned Shannon & Amaury's South of France wedding dreams into a reality by planning and styling them a magnificent wedding. We've fallen for the colourful flowers consisting of pink hydrangeas, David Austin roses and setting them off beautifully was the complementary succulents and foliage. A massive shout out to Saya Photography who captured priceless moments as well as THE MOST pinnable table plan we ever did see!

Wedding Planner & Photographer

When I was searching for a wedding planner it was extremely important to me to find someone from the area who specialised in planning French weddings. I did extensive research online and at first, it was challenging to find a planner that did not work mainly on destination weddings. However, I was lucky enough to stumble upon Julie & Paul of MadeInYou's work through my research. After skyping with them I knew they were exactly what we were looking for. Our planner, Julie, was integral in helping us find our photographer Saya, it was really important to have a good feeling and connection with the photographer we decided to hire. From the very first time we Skype chatted with Saya we had that feeling. She was so warm and bubbly and just seemed to immediately understand both what we were looking for and what our hesitations were. Lastly, her photos were absolutely stunning and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives.
