Inspiration

This couple kept it close to home with a PapaKata Sperry tent next to where they live along with a stunning Halfpenny London strapless wedding dress and a delicious grazing table. Every detail had been carefully thought through but when bought together looked so effortless. A traditional wedding with a modern spin was the vibe for the day, which included a more formal ceremony followed by a reception that the guests could relax and feel like they were in the comfort of the couple's home, even down to the mismatched crockery and a warming roast dinner!

What Made Our Day Unique

It was special to us because we had it at our favourite place right next to our home! We got to plan everything exactly how we wanted it so we felt like it reflected our styles & although it’s a lot of effort, like, a lot of effort having an at-home wedding where you’re doing all of the planning even down the the cutlery, it makes it so so special when you see all come together on the day!

India & Sean

Strapless Wedding Dress

Having bought one dress to begin with, when India laid her eyes on the Halfpenny London strapless wedding dress she knew she had to change her mind and go with her gut. And we are so glad she did as India looks truly stunning! Opting for a larger dress for the church ceremony and changing into a more fitted number with polka dot detachable sleeves for the relaxed reception, this bride looks amazing and says "If you're having second thoughts about your dress, just go with your gut!".

Inspiration & Styling

The vibe was a modern take on a traditional wedding. We always wanted a church wedding & I wanted the big dress that doesn’t mistake you for the bride cause when else can you do that really?! Sean wanted to go for tails so we thought we’d go a bit fancy for the ceremony & more relaxed for the reception. We chose sharing boards for the wedding breakfast which was our favourite meal a roast dinner & rustic tables. We really just wanted it to look like how we like things at home with details like the mismatched plates & cutlery. With the flowers were wanted them to look all-natural & resemble nature at that time of year with the colours & featured my favourites like Daisy’s which looked so beautiful on the day, we were so happy when we saw them!

India & Sean

India and Sean chose a PapaKata Sperry tent for their reception, which they erected next to their home, with other suppliers bought in to make this day super special, including The Mini Big Band who entertained the guests into the evening! Both of these are on our handpicked supplier list, so we know they are amazing!
