Who says a supermarket wedding cake can't be as good as a bespoke one? Not us and it is definitely proven with this pretty naked cake from M&S at this amazing wedding at Godwick Hall and Barn. The rustic barn with and an exposed brick backdrop played host to the unplugged ceremony with an aisle lined with Persian rugs and a pretty floral moon gate framing the couple as they said I Do. The bride wore a minimalist wedding dress from Made with Love Bridal - one of Rock My Wedding's recommended suppliers - and clutched a bouquet made up of deep red florals and foliage. The couple decided to hire the Norfolk venue for the entire weekend, giving them enough time to properly celebrate with their nearest & dearest building up to their big day!
What Made Our Day Unqiue
It wasn’t just our Wedding day that was unique it was the whole weekend. Having hired Godwick hall and barn from Thursday to Monday, meant we could spend a lot of time with Family and Friends before and after the big day. So much laughter and love-filled the weekend from 140 loved ones - a unique experience that I hope we’re lucky enough to have again.
Supermarket Wedding Cake
The simple but stunning naked supermarket wedding cake was on hand to provide the 140 guests a sweet treat topped with strawberries and flowers. The cake cutting was followed by a rendition of 'Your Song' from the groomsmen with the rest of the guests joining in, the icing on the cake to an amazing few days celebrating at Godwick Hall and Great Barn. The Norfolk wedding venue made for a beautiful day and can cater for small intimate weddings or larger guest lists just like this one - they are one of Rock My Wedding's recommended suppliers!Inspiration & Styling
We wanted the day to be fun, chilled and have full bellied guests, quirky elements were important. A good band, good food, very good wine and friends with a moody gothic vibe, exposed bricks, lots of candle lights, rustic and bohemian elements and persian rugs were a must! There was lots of greenery and natural tones with white, black.
