I don’t normally work on the real weddings but today’s is just that little bit special. You see it is my baby sister’s wedding. A day full of so much love and laughter that I couldn’t not share it with you.
Abi looked beyond stunning in her Amanda Wyatt Natalia gown which was chosen to compliment my new brother-in-law’s military dress. Seriously smart. And you will probably spot my two little girls in there too. You’ve got to love a tiny tutu.
I can’t say enough about how amazing Cripps Barn was, just fabulous, and the perfect back drop to the hours of crafting, planning and baking. Everything came together to create an elegant day with just the right amount of fun. It was a truly amazing day and I hope you love it as much as we all did. Enjoy!
It’s always so lovely to bring you new collections from Rock My Wedding favourite, Amanda Wyatt. Her gowns are timeless and beautiful with the most gorgeous detailing and the new collection is not going to disappoint. Think Hollywood sirens from years gone by. Glamour and elegance in equal measures.
I adore the scallop sleeve detail on the Ariella. So delicate. And the pocket detailing on the Wren is just fabulous. I do love a dress with a pocket.
It’s no secret we love Amanda Wyatt’s dresses. They are infinitely elegant and utterly feminine. But we are letting you in on a little known secret here. She also makes accessories. Yep, an ethereal and magical range of hair-clips, hairbands, veils and tiaras to add sparkle to any gown. And would you just look at those floral headbands. We LOVE.
And you know how much RMW adore a good accessory. With over 60 to choose from the range really does have everything you need to complete your outfit. Adding a simple accessory like a brooch or headband can really change the look of a gown and create a completely unique look. The range can be mixed and matched to dress up a gown. The belts are super pretty or there are brooches and adornments galore.
We recently shared a preview of the the beautiful “Promises of Love” collection from Amanda Wyatt. Today we are lucky enough to share an exclusive look at the full collection with you, and it’s a beauty.
The dresses are some of my absolute favourite from Amanda Wyatt. Pretty and fun with all the romance and femininity that you could wish for in your wedding dress.
Amanda’s signature fit, cut and wealth of styles are presented in soft flowing chiffons, French and Italian laces, fine tulle and rich satins, adorned with frosted pearl beading and embellished details. A soft colour palette of Ivory hues, soft Gold and a hint of Blush Pinks and Powder Blue is Amanda’s chosen colour pallette. There are 25 gorgeous dresses in the collection so take a peek and do tell us if you think any of these could be your perfect dress.
I promise to love you forever, As long as you promise your love to me…
And we can assure you that you will love this collection of stunning new dresses from Amanda Wyatt. The new collection for 2016 is quite possibly one of our favourite yet and given the amount of Bridal gowns we see, that is saying something!
The collection only launched a few months ago and has already been hailed as Amanda’s strongest collection to date.
The collection is as pretty as it is fun, it’s girly and romantic, and as always with Amanda Wyatt gowns, the dresses are utterly feminine.
If you haven’t already looked at Amanda Wyatt’s stunning dresses then you really should. Having been in the industry for over 40 years Amanda Wyatt is an expert when it comes to creating the perfect dress for you. As a member of our Fashion Pack we know she creates the most beautiful designs and you can see them all in our Bridal Collections. With stunning statement pieces they really are dresses to be remembered and talked about long after the wedding.
So you can imagine we were super excited when we caught sight of this stunning shoot featuring not only the beautiful ‘Blue Iris’ collection from Amanda Wyatt but also a whole host of gorgeousness and inspiration for your big day. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside at the gorgeous Owen House Wedding Barn, this is the most charming rustic barn location surrounded by enchanting woodland giving the perfect mix of rural beauty and modern pops of colour.
Feast your eyes on these delectable images and enjoy!
We’ve got some really good news for you this Friday afternoon – not only do we have the exclusive first-look of the new collection ‘Blue Iris’ from Amanda Wyatt – but also we’re thrilled to announce that Amanda is now a lovely RMW Fashion Pack member too!
If you’ve started searching for ‘the one’ (the dress, not the husband – we’re assuming that if you’re here, then you’ve found him), you will no doubt have come across the beautiful designs from Amanda Wyatt.
With three generations and over 50 years of bridal fashion heritage (!) Amanda Wyatt has listened, learned and evolved. This means that if you’re an Amanda Wyatt Bride or a stockist then you will develop a personal relationship and partnership with the AW team. Which is exactly what you want when you are investing in the outfit for the best day of you life!
We love to champion British design and so we’re really proud to have Amanda Wyatt in our Fashion Pack.
If you click into the gallery, you can see the front and back of all of the gorgeous gowns and their names – do let us know which gowns you’ve fallen for!
My favourites are Brogan – those pretty lace straps that cross at the back? LOVE them! And Juliette – because I’m still crazy about lace sleeves.
Now then, this is a bit different in terms of fashion. Rather than the bride “changing up” her look for the evening festivities the groom chose to instead, and very swanky he looks too (in both ensembles.)
I love the light, the love and the soft colour palette of Jane and Sam’s super pretty W-day, not to mention all of the home-made details and the fact so many Rock My Wedding recommended suppliers did an AMAZING job of the whole affair.
I defy anyone not to fancy a cake (or two) after catching a glimpse of the delicious dessert table, rocky road is my FAVOURITE.
We love receiving a sneak peek of a brand new collection that is beautifully styled and photographed and then have the opportunity to feature all of the gorgeous gowns in the hope that one of you lovelies might just discover “The One” on these very pages.
This afternoon we’re sharing Amanda Wyatt’s new Ascot Collection, a delectable combination of soft layered tulle, luxury lace and simple yet elegant shapes. Amanda’s focus was on “textures that feel as beautiful on the skin as they look” and each gown has a very fluid silhouette, super flattering yet easy breezy to wear.
My favourite is the Freja, such delicate detailing – love the accessorising of statement earrings and sexy gloves.
And did I mention these dresses start from just £900? Oh yes they do.
I now officially want some blue/grey shutters for my home, not entirely sure where they are going to go but I’m going to figure it out.
Have you already found your gown following a feature on RMW? If you did we would love to know!
The new collection is available in boutiques from this month, for stockists and further information please visit the Amanda Wyatt website which will re-launch and feature the whole collection from the 6th September.
