With the weather being so beautiful, this afternoon we’re turning our attention to outfits for summer occasions – be it a garden party, a pool party, a trip out on the river, a glamorous beachside bar – our Fashion Pack members have got it covered. Actually, that doesn’t really do it justice…they’ve got it covered with style!

There are some seriously covetable items – what else would you expect from Johanna Hehir, Naomi Neoh, Suzanne Neville, Charlotte Balbier and the Belle & Bunty ladies?

So, let us know if any of the designers have picked things you love, if you’ve been tempted to purchase anything…and if you’ve got any great recommendations for the perfect outfit for a summery celebration then do let us know – the RMW team don’t need much encouragement to shop!

Belle & Bunty: The Bridesmaid Collection.

Happy Monday you gorgeous lot you. We’ve got a special treat in store for you today in terms of FABULOUS frockage from the gorgeous girls at Belle & Bunty.

As lovely as they are super sassy and achingly cool on the sartorial front (read a whole darn lot – check out their instagram account here for daily fashion pretty) the designers behind the Belle & Bunty brand – Alice and Hannah – are uber talented too. The girls recently told us all about the launch of their brand new bridesmaid collection and once we’d clapped eyes on it we just knew we had to share it with you.

Colourful and bright and oh so luxurious the new range consists of five styles called, in no particular order, The Luna, The Hera, The Sura, The Theia and The Portia.

Practical as well as stylish, each of the five designs can be made with or without sleeves from a choice of sixteen vibrant colours. And that’s not all! The dresses are all available in maxi, midi and mini lengths too. It’s like being a kid in a candy shop….where to begin?!

Of all the dresses, The Theia is probably my favourite – I’m a sucker for 3/4 length sleeves and a bit of classic tailoring – but I adore all of the frocks for completely different reasons. The Hera for its delicious scooped out back detailing, The Sura for its bohemian infused bodice tailoring, The Luna for its clean lines and ultra modern silhouette and The Portia for its inherent girlyness. In fact the silk look fabric from which all the designs are made has the perfect drape which the Belle & Bunty girls assure me mimics the luxury of the bridal collection but at an attainable price point.

So there you have it, the perfect blend between contemporary and vintage, of playfulness and personality that any fashion-minded maid would be proud to wear again and again.

We’ve got HUGE images of every design for you to enjoy and of course we’ve also included a gallery at the end of this post for you to pin away to your heart’s content – go forth and swoon lovelies!

The Fashion Pack Asks What’s In Your Suitcase { Part One }.

As I write this, I’m looking out of my window at the torrential rain that Mother Nature has decided to gift us on this very grey Friday in April. Technically I know I/we should be grateful; the plants get a thirst-quenching drink and I’m sure that bluer skies will probably be on their way next week. I can’t help feeling a bit miffed however…I mean it’s the end of April and frankly I still feel that we’re in the depths of Winter at times.

Come on Summer!

With dreams of warmer climes and balmy nights on the brain, the RMW team turned their thoughts to summer holidays this week…more specifically honeymoons. In fact some of you lovelies might already be ‘mooning as we speak (which actually makes me a very jealous girl indeed) but then I know there’ll be a fair few of you planning and scheming about your romantic holiday to come and which essentials to pack for the journey.

If you’re anything like me then you’re a veritable hoarder, squirrelling away the equivalent of a year’s worth of provisions for a five day city break. Ridiculous. Yep, you can guarantee that I’ll be the only one out of my family that will check in luggage for the hold rather than taking a carry-on…much to their dismay, but this girl can’t help it. Are any of you guilty of ‘travelling heavy’?

With this packing dilemma in mind we turned to our delicious Fashion Pack designers for a little bit of their divine wisdom and a helping hand and asked them which items they simply couldn’t travel without…

This week we’ll be hearing from Belle & Bunty, Kate Halfpenny, Naomi Neoh and Johanna Hehir. Check back next Friday for more inspiration from Charlotte Balbier, Wednesday Roses and Suzanne Neville.

You Shall Go To The Ball…

Every now and then something drops into our inbox that simply couldn’t be more Rock My Wedding. With Fairytale fortnight fast approaching, Charlotte and I were giving some serious consideration to the kind of fashion we were going to cover as part of it. We don’t like to be too predictable as you all know and staying within the theme but keeping it that little bit outside-of-the-blue-polka-dot-box, that little bit RMW, was proving tougher than we thought….

Then as often happens in these situations, fate intervenes just in time for us to give Belle and Bunty center stage.

So today we’re offering a selection of truly chic and every bit as unique as you like FASHION – fit for a thoroughly modern fairy tale.

Belle and Bunty is a fashion label designed by Alice Shreeve & Hannah Coniam-Thompson, started in 2003. Over the years the brand has built a successful celebrity following including the likes of Diana Vickers, Pixie Lott, Nicola Roberts, Heidi Range, Myleene Klass, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Fearne Cotton, Alexa Chung, Tamzin Outhwaite and Holly Willhoughby.

But what’s a fashion deisgner to do when they get married themselves? Make their own gown, a labour of love that lead to the creation of The Belle and The Bunty, the synonymously named dresses that they created together, for each other. And its no secret that we love to see a strong female business partnership go from strength to strength around here. 😉

*The Primrose and The Willow

These two designs, along with The Willow – a freqently requested style for Brides looking for something a little different, lead to the creation of the ‘Magnificent Seven’, Created in their signature elegant and floaty style of chiffon’s and silks, I really think these guys could give the likes of the more established bridal designers a run for their money.

*The Bay and The Estella

Here’s a little bit from the Belle and Bunty team themselves about the Magnificent 7 collection:

The Willow Maxi Dress is the seminal force behind the collection. Following the Willowʼs repeated sell-out success, Alice and Hannah have made dresses for a stream of brides looking for an alternative to the traditional wedding dress. Handcrafted by the designers with their skilled team in light and luxurious silks, craftsmanship lies at the heart of the collection. Belle & Buntyʼs characteristic muted shades of silver, buttermilk, fawn and dusty peach mingle with decadent jewel tones of emerald, claret, iris and teal. Delicate handmade silk roses, bows and lace trims finish these pieces with a feminine flourish.

So, we’re got style, glamour, elegance and individuality… thats a pretty impressive package. And you’re thinking, but ‘I’m a Bride, I want white!’ And that’s completely do-able. Made to Order, these dresses can be made in exactly the shade your bridal heart desires, be that the softest white, creamiest ivory or shades of shell pink, dove grey or blushing nude.

That just leaves one little question… maybe not such a little one… the price?

The range starts at £745 for the Wisteria to £1095 for The Primrose. How’s that for a find?

So that’s enough from us… we’re pretty excited to be sharing this collection, so excited in fact that I’m bookmarking Belle & Bunty for when I next need a bridesmaid/black tie/just-because-I-want-to-look-simply-devastating dress.

Please head over and have a nosey around the Belle and Bunty site, they really are delicious and there are more images to feast your beady eyes upon!
