There are weddings, and then there are weddings, and this fantastic celebration at The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club in Shoreditch is nitty, gritty and oh so pretty. Thoroughly modern couple, Natasha and Luke, worked together to create a celebration that not only reflected them as a couple (move aside, Meghan Markle; this is how bride’s walk themselves down the aisle), but also ensured their guests had a great time to boot. Captured in mesmerising style by Nigel John, the photos feel fitting for a magazine editor and her beau: artistic, atmospheric and poignant, they would not be out of place in an editorial shoot or an art gallery. You truly are in for a treat.
Guys how incredible does Kate look?! This is what happens when you have a wedding dress made for you by a designer. You get to chose all the elements from other dresses that you love to create one super dress. And it’s a super dress indeed, Meghan in McCartney Halterneck vibes, that champagne coloured silk, the beaded details, GAH it’s just so beautiful!!!
Kate and Fraser married at Christmas time, but they did it East London style, all exposed brick, railway underpasses and graffiti, with a couple of crackers and lots of fairy lights thrown in for good measure. This wedding has style in spades and I have a feeling you’re going to love it…
I’m all about weddings with laid back vibes, and this gorgeous tipi wedding has them in spades. Jo and Chris wanted to create a chilled Woodstock-esque feel to their big day and I think it’s safe to say they achieved it! The bespoke fashion, the wild flowers, the tipis…luckily the weather was glorious too so they could make the most of the gorgeous grounds of Sandon Hall.
Jo is a bride after my own heart too, with her fringed dress, Vintage Manolo’s and with lines such as ‘Like many brides, I soon discovered that an Orangery is an absolute essential for drinks and canapés,’ it’s clear she’s a RMW bride through and through! I know you’re going to love this wedding, so get comfy and enjoy!
One thing you won’t be able to stop doing whilst looking through this lovely collection of images by Chris Barber Photography is smile. Rachael & Mark are the most adorable couple and are literally beaming from ear to ear the whole time, as are their guests.
The bright colour scheme and laid back vibes will bring you pure joy, as will the fabulous fashion and florals. I love that Rachael had her gown tailor made, the ankle length hem is perfect for showing off her beautiful shoes, and the bridesmaid floral frocks are delicious.
Now who’s ready to delve into this city wedding…?
When a wedding comes in from Tub Of Jelly, you always know you’re in for a treat. Betty and David have the most fun and quirky couples whose weddings are filled with original ideas and gorgeous happy vibes. Which are all handily captured in motion as well as stills, thanks to Tub Of Jelly’s ninja like camera skills.
Bethany and Grant’s wedding is a celebration of Autumn, which feels very apt for this week following that glorious bank holiday we had, there’s definitely a chill in the air. So grab a snuggly blanket and a hot chocolate, and let’s cosy up with this gorgeous couple and their stunning wedding photographs…
P.S. Bethany and her mum MADE HER WEDDING DRESS!!! I KNOW! Amazing right?!
OMG this wedding! It ticks all of the boxes on my list of things I love at a wedding. Gorgeous dress, outdoor ceremony, amazing florals, a big old party in a tipi AND stunning photography. I lost count of the amount of times an image from Lucy Little made me do a little gasp. For starters there’s the image above of Jayne just looking SO happy and beautiful, which is exactly how every Bride should feel on her wedding day. Then there’s the image of Jayne giving her Dad a huge hug. And then the image of her and Bobby walking along in the sunset…
You need to savour each and every one. Oh and Jayne’s hair?! Serious hair envy going on at RMW HQ!
I’ll let you enjoy it, but please don’t read the text if you haven’t already eaten, as the food sounds utterly delicious and will make you want to do so immediately – you have been warned…
I can’t help it – pink Princess shoes get me every time and Jen’s are just gorgeous. They are from Ted Baker, and a great option if you’ve fallen for the iconic Manolos, but you just can’t stretch your budget that far.
Jen and Scott went with a classic navy and pink colour scheme, with pretty gold accents for their Winter wedding and the resulting look is gorgeous. Knowing that flowers would be harder to come by than in the Summer, Jen decided to opt for foliage and plants as table centres. Presented in pretty little pots and combined with rustic wooden log slices, the tables look very inviting and the neatly scribed menus on mini clipboards finish off the whole look perfectly.
The weather was a little gloomy, but there’s nothing gloomy about Millbridge Court – which is just so light and airy whatever the weather decides to do, or the images from RS Brown Photography. What could be more romantic than kissing under an umbrella while the heavens open above you?!
This double wedding is just all kinds of epic, so I’m going to shut up and just let the pictures from Story & Colour do the talking, which they most definitely do…
And given that it’s a double wedding, there’s two sets of images for you all, so I’d definitely recommend making a cup of tea and getting comfortable to enjoy this one.
There’s the elegant civil ceremony followed by a big knees up in a field, then there’s the vibrant Indian wedding ceremony filled with colour, followed by a rustic styled Eastern feast at the gorgeous Merriscourt in the Cotswolds.
This afternoon’s wedding is a fashion lovers dream – just look at all of the lovely outfits on show. Deborah had her own blush wedding dress, and those gorgeous Bridesmaids dresses, made in the style of a Donna Karen dress she loved but couldn’t justify the spend. The result is a gown that looks perfect for her! We love Groom Steve’s geek-chic look too and his smoking jacket adds a lovely touch of dapperness to the mix.
The couple married at Woodhall Manor, they chose it because it was close enough to London to be an easy journey for their friends and family, and it ticked their theme box – quirky but classy. Which is an excellent way to describe the whole big day!
