Charlotte & James

A little festive cheer for us all this cold lunchtime – in the form of Charlotte and James’ cosy winter wedding at The West Mill Derby. We always love a stylish winter wedding, there’s no need to go hard on the tinsel just because your wedding coincides with Christmas. Foliage, sparkly lights and an elegant wreathe are all you need.

Images come from the lovely Chris and Anii at Bloom Weddings, who have captured some truly gorgeous shots. I always love seeing things from a different perspective on the big day and if you look carefully through this edit you’ll see some really thoughtful images. Oh and two last things – Charlotte’s HAIR. She also changed into her slippers for the party. I think I love her…

Alex & Andrew

This brings the term white wedding to a whole new level, with 40cm of snow covering the beautiful Austrian Alps and making the most magical wedding and backdrop for portraits captured by Bloom Weddings.

With an après ski theme in an intimate lodge full of candle light, traditional mulled wine, hot pastries and an adorable ski car table plan. Not to mention the ski arch after the wedding ceremony.

I think we also need to take a moment to appreciate bride Alex’s Ian Stuart gown. The appliqué neck & sleeve detail is divine and the image of the moment she enters the church with it flowing behind her is truly incredible. Such detail.

I am also very much in love with he deep burgundy colour scheme. The bridesmaids Warehouse dresses and deep blooms pop against the crisp snowy background.

Some serious Winter wedding goals to feast your eyes upon this afternoon. Shall we get stuck in?

Katie & Adam

Any wedding that manages to combine gin, amazing florals and beautiful photographs with much loved older members of the family is a surefire winner with me. So it’s no surprise that I’m in love with Katie and Adam’s big day held at The Art Pavilion in London.

The twosome said ‘I Do’ amongst a backdrop of Cafe Au Lait dahlias, an array of lots of different types of gin (complete with gin bar to boot) and a surprise Love Actually singalong to the strains of “All You Need is Love” and real live instruments from their guests. I know! IMMENSE! Kate also wears her Kate by Augusta Jones bridal gown like a Queen!

Come and take a look…
