Cool, creative and urban styling for this Sheffield wedding, the theme was sequin disco rave and even the brides dress suited perfectly. Melissa & Dave married on stage in front of their friends at The Lantern Theatre, after saying ‘I Do’ the band crashed the ceremony and joined the couple to kick off the festivities. They partied the night away at their very cool, industrial styled warehouse reception which featured amazing tropical flowers, festoon lighting and neon signs. Zero traditions, no white dress and no cake just a wild party with friends and family filled with personal touches and a night not to be forgotten!
BUDGET £40 – 50K
Entering through the floral moon gate arch and following the festoon lit path, guests were met with a marquee decorated with bright hanging flower installations and rustic wooden wedding signs. Choosing to have the wedding at the bride’s family home meant months of preparation and watering the garden to get it looking as lovely as it did on the day! Formal and heavily curated was not this couple’s style, so choosing a much more low key celebration and mixing up traditions suited them much better, allowing everyone to relax and thoroughly enjoy themselves. Complementing the wildflower theme, were the blue bridal party who wore blue Rewritten bridesmaid dresses – who we love and are one of our handpicked suppliers – and of course the bride who opted for a lace sleeved dress from Mademoiselle de Guise. Perfection!
