There really is nothing I love more than a bride in pink and Hannah looks utterly ravishing in her bespoke gown, made from the most fabulous blush pink silk with a velvet brocade pattern. Paired with Josh’s forest green suit, they look super stylish and modern, a new take on classic bridal. Hannah’s dress has all the drama of a bridal gown, but that soft, romantic colour is so striking.
Images come from Dorset Photographer Paul Underhill, whose natural, reportage style always looks beautiful here on RMW.
Lauren’s blush pink ‘Ballet’ gown by Suzanne Neville is just dreamy and perfect for a pretty pastel wedding filled with metallic details. We love that Lauren started out with a purely pink theme, but the ‘allure of sparkly things’ got to her and she couldn’t help but throw in a sprinkling of gold. I mean, let’s face it, we’ve all been there 😉
I’m also loving the idea of guests putting notes into bottles for Lauren and James to open on future wedding anniversaries. They could chose between a few years away, or as far as 25 years down the line! What a great idea and how wonderful will it be for the couple to open these and reminisce over their wonderful day?
How beautiful is this wedding?! I’m completely in love with the Midsummer Nights Dream vibe – wild woodland florals, feathers, tweed and lots of blush pink. Tabitha looks gorgeous in Katya Katya Shehurina, who I always associate with free spirited, stylish Brides, one of which Tabitha clearly IS. Also looking rather dapper is Matt, in a pair of Pink Marks & Spencers Chinos! I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again…if your Groom doesn’t want to wear a suit, then he really doesn’t have to. Go with whatever suits you and the style of your wedding day. If this sounds like the kind of wedding advice you want to hear, then maybe you should preorder our soon-to-be-released book Your Day Your Way? Tabitha and Matt certainly did everything their way for their wedding day and it was utterly fabulous. Let’s take a look…
Nadine and John’s relaxed, beautifully styled big day is just one of the gorgeous real weddings you’ll find in the RMW Book ‘Your Day Your Way’, which is released in less than a month’s time! If you didn’t know we had a book coming out, then head over to Amazon for a preview. It’ll be available to buy from 9th Feb (eekkkk!) but you can preorder now, if you’d like.
If you got engaged over the Christmas period it’ll be really helpful with guiding you through planning your big day while keeping true to your own style. Even if you’ve got lots of your planning ticked off, it’s full of stunning, exclusive imagery that will hopefully provide you with some serious eye candy and maybe some last minute ideas to borrow for your own wedding day.
Nadine and John’s wedding is in the book because they most definitely did things their way – getting ready together, walking down the aisle together, Nadine wore blush pink and they chose an industrial warehouse style space in London to hold their reception. It’s a gorgeous wedding day which shows you that if you stick to the things you love as your starting point, then you’ll always end up with a day that is cohesive, stylish and completely personal to you.
