Love is in the air at this incredibly romantic Venice Elopement. Just the bride and groom, the historic Venice sights and fierce fashion. Plus, some peonies, vellum wedding stationery and a delicious red and white marbled wedding cake all planned and styled beautifully by Lisa Giolo of Italianluxevents and captured by Rebecca Carpenter Photography and Andrew MacKenzie Filmmaker. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
We love a Peony wedding bouquet here at RMW HQ and we were not disappointed when we saw Claire & Drew’s floral arrangements, swoon! This Isle of Wight wedding proves that you don’t have to travel too far to have a gorgeous wedding next to the sea. Set on the Bembridge coast where Drew proposed, Westcliff is the most picturesque pink house sitting right on the beachfront providing a beautiful backdrop to the days celebrations. It not only stole the couple’s heart but it’s stealing a little bit of ours too!
Aynhoe Park ALWAYS makes us smile. Every time I see a wedding featured there I always stumble across a new detail I love, and I NEVER tire of seeing the hanging giraffe. The incredibly unique decor was perfect for Hannah & Steven’s blush & white theme with unicorn details, giving an incredibly romantic feel to this achingly elegant wedding.
The colour scheme was even echoed in bride Hannah’s dreamy blush wedding dress. Plus she has an entourage of bridesmaids, flower girls and page boys in equally stunning attire that’ll have you wanting to increase your bridal squad immediately.
I can’t think of a better photographer than Lucy Davenport to capture this whimsical day, as her fine art style suits it down to the ground.
I am such a huge fan of blush at the moment. If you’re a regular reader of Sister blog Rock My Style you’ll know that I have my eye on a blush sofa. I’ve just got to convince the husband. Anyway I digress. It’s a real treat to see this blush, White by Vera Wang bridal gown gracing our pages. The layers of tulle and appliqué bustle are heavenly. It goes without saying that Bride Hannah looks absolutely AMAZING.
The outdoor ceremony in the woods adds to their fairytale story with humble BBQ, ales and ice-cream food trucks to dig into. If you like this relax approach too, you should definitely check out our Love Lust List street food & drinks post for more suppliers in your area.
This afternoon’s wedding is a fashion lovers dream – just look at all of the lovely outfits on show. Deborah had her own blush wedding dress, and those gorgeous Bridesmaids dresses, made in the style of a Donna Karen dress she loved but couldn’t justify the spend. The result is a gown that looks perfect for her! We love Groom Steve’s geek-chic look too and his smoking jacket adds a lovely touch of dapperness to the mix.
The couple married at Woodhall Manor, they chose it because it was close enough to London to be an easy journey for their friends and family, and it ticked their theme box – quirky but classy. Which is an excellent way to describe the whole big day!
