We were completely and utterly tickled pink when Emma of Epic Love Story Photography popped this immense French wedding in our inbox. Real bride and groom, Hannah and Benjamin have bags of style looking absolutely fierce in a feather wedding dress and black tie tailormade suit. Their sense of style and attention to detail doesn’t end at the fashion though, they also shipped amazing wedding decor they DIYed themselves from the UK to France, as well as a full Welsh choir to entertain their wedding guests. Stop what you’re doing and take a breath, for this wedding is going to leave you breathless. Chateau La Durantie in the Dordogne is divine, and our lovely couple certainly make the most of the gorgeous gardens and fairytale castle during their wedding celebrations, with an outdoor ceremony, outdoor seating area and inside-outside marquee. Sandwiched between two stormy days, their wedding celebrations are drenched in sunshine – which explains why the party ends up in the pool! With a pastel macaroon tower, Pronovias dress and hot pink heels to boot (can you spot the little fashionista giving them a try?), this wedding is all things pretty. Enjoy.

Chiara & Michael

I think it’s safe to say, the entire RMW team has a huge girl crush on today’s creative and entrepreneurial bride Chiara Perano, the stylish spark behind Lamplighter London, the original modern calligraphy studio. Chiara was handwriting envelopes and illustrating invites while the rest of the country was still selecting their lilac-butterfly-embossed stationery from that awful book in WHSmith. Chiara really has paved the way for many other design studios, and it’s a real honour to be sharing her wedding with you all today.

If you don’t recognise Lamplighter London, then it’s highly likely you’ll know Chiara’s book, Nib and Ink, the ultimate guide to modern calligraphy. And if you’re new to the wedding world and today is your first introduction to this fabulous lady, then prepare to be amazed by the gorgeous stationery and signage for her and Michael’s dreamy Bordeaux wedding.

Every last detail has been expertly captured by RMW favourites, Fern Edwards Photography and This Modern Revelry. The flowers by the incredible Kitten Grayson will have you swooning, and look out for the gorgeous custom Rewritten bridesmaids dresses too. This is a wedding with endless inspiration…I’ve literally died and gone to bridal heaven. Enjoy lovelies, I have a feeling you’ll like it too!

Their celebrations started on Friday and continued through to Sunday, with nothing being too much trouble for the planning team to ensure Sophie & Alex’s wedding dreams came true. Every capture by Nigel Johh tells the beautiful story of this adorable couples destination wedding. From he golden light, to Bride Sophie’s exquisite lace Caroline Castigliano gown, you are going to be mesmerised.

Charlotte & Sam

Where to begin with Charlotte and Sam’s wedding day?! This duo are both super creative and obviously rather stylish, so naturally their wedding day follows suit. Lucky enough to call this French chateau home, it was a joy to bring it to life with a wedding celebration. Having a French address also meant that Charlotte and Sam could legally marry at their local mairie, which obviously meant another epic outfit change for the pair.

Images come from The Shannons, make sure you look out for ‘Le Station du Jazzification’ otherwise known as the glitter station…a must for all weddings as far as we’re concerned 😉
