Fay & Adam

Fay and Adam are seriously sweet. If we were rating them on a scale of ‘cute as a button’ then they’d be off the chart. Where to start then with this beautifully styled Disney inspired big day? Well let’s begin with Fay’s Vera Wang frock, all sensuous curves and super sass – this girl has style in spades. And let’s not forget dapper Adam either – self-described as ‘a man unafraid to wear adventurously’.

I’m head over heels for their Disney couples centrepieces and I know that there’ll be those of you who will definitely appreciate Adam’s DeLorean choice of transport. There are pastel tin cans and confetti and all sorts of other gloriousness that abounds. All of it was captured wonderfully by McKinley-Rodgers .

I have to say that I really love how Fay and Adam tell the story of planning their wedding day. You can tell that they both really enjoyed the journey of designing and pulling together all the different elements that make up their wedding day, plus they’re really rather funny too. Come and take a look.

Carolin & Abelardo

Carolin and Abelardo live in Mexico and although the beauty of the white beaches and blue ocean was calling them they decided they wanted to have a chic country wedding at Gut Bliestorf in North Germany where Carolin is from.

First they had an intimate ceremony under a beautiful oak tree in the garden with their close family present, followed by a big church ceremony and reception the following day.

Carolin looks the picture of elegance in her dreamy tulle and lace Rosa Clara ‘Sandy’ gown, finished off beautifully with a floral headpiece and Christian Louboutin Toboggan shoes.

The whole setting is utterly dreamy and romantic and wait until you see the baby pink blooms and hanging honeycomb balls from the trees. All the heart eyes.

Faye & Stuart

You are going to go weak at the knees when you see the gorgeous blush blooms by The Little Violet. From the floral wreath, to the buttonholes, sweet stem filled jars and Faye’s unbelievably stunning bouquet and flower filled up do, I guaranteed you’ll want them all.

You are also going to love Notley Abbey. The grounds are just breathtaking and the twinkling canopy of fairy lights in the Monks Refectory accompanied by hanging chandeliers is so romantic.

Faye choose the gorgeous lace Maggie Sottero Ascher gown, because it accentuated her derrière (her husbands favourite part). We absolutely LOVE it when a lady embraces her figure, and my does she look beaut. Elegant, sassy and a simply stunning bride.

Such a beautiful, classic wedding in every way, did I mention the blooms……..?

Katarina & Michael

To say I love this super luxe white on white Tuscan wedding wouldn’t be doing it justice. Not even I really, really, really LOVE it is getting close. I feel completely and utterly spoilt by all the stunning views, the greenery and white flowers, and then there’s the incredibly stylish fashion which I think deserves a post all of it’s own.

Katarina’s Mira Zwillinger bridal gown is pure heaven. Embroidered with delicate leaves on divine tulle and finished with a gorgeous pair of Louboutin pumps. This was only outfit one! There was also a swift change into a short Oscar de la Renta gown and Dolce Gabbana shoes to dance the night away in. Until 4am I might add!

I’d certainly want to dance the night away at the gorgeous Salvadonica too. Especially as it was all lit up with romantic candle and festoon lights and you could enjoy cool cocktails by the pool and indulge in ice-creams from the vintage cart.

This destination wedding was a joy to put together and is a real treat from start to finish.

Wait until you see this couples ceremony, it’s simply stunning. Set in the ruin’s of an outdoor chapel at the gorgeous Chateau De Clerbise in France. Making it a truly picturesque place to say I do.

Inspired by chic rustic, a gorgeous palette of lilac & blue was used to decorate the marquee reception. Think fresh lavender sprigs, mercury glass filled votives, hessian and lace. All finished with lovely hand illustrated stationery and fun order of the day sign.

I also absolutely adore the sumptuous satin Ghost Bridesmaid dresses Caitlin’s best girls don, but not as much as I love Caitlin’s one shoulder tulle Art Couture gown. All ladies look utterly dreamy, especially against all the quaint backdrops of the Chateau.

The whole day is full of laughter, love and beautifulness.

Megan & Joshua

This is a true fairytale wedding folks so I am going to start it just as every fairytale should…. Once upon a time a truly gorgeous Australian couple met. Megan is a dance teacher and Josh a professional rugby player and together they said their I Do’s at the breathtaking, fully restored Chateau les Carrasses in the South of France where they now live. I can only describe the chateau as a beautiful Disney-like princess castle.

Of course every princess should have a dream gown to marry her prince in, and Megan’s Lace fishtail Pronovias dress is simply divine. But the fairytale doesn’t end there, she was also gifted a fabulous pair of Christian Louboutin slippers lovingly inscribed on the soles by her beau.

This wedding is so luxurious, so classy and. Simply. Stunning. I think I could happily talk about its chic French styling, neutral colour palette, stunning backdrop and beautiful blooms all day, but I will just let the gorgeous images captured by Modern Vintage Weddings speak for themselves. You’re going to LOVE it and this adorable couple.

Sarah & Gareth

Summer meadows, dappled sunlight and a bespoke bridal gown that dreams are made of. Sounds like a fairytale right? Well the wedding of Sarah and Gareth truly is folks. An eclectic mix of femininity, copper accents and mother nature.

You would be hard pushed to find a more beautiful backdrop than Llangoed Hall in Wales, the gardens are something truly special, as is the choice of fashion and florals. And did I mention Sarah’s shoes?! lovely Louboutin silver strappy court shoes, as perfect for the Honeymoon as they were for the big day.

Enjoy, I know I certainly did.

Aoife & Michael

Michael & Aoife’s vintage inspired wedding looks like a wonderful day filled with fabulous fashion, laughter and a great atmosphere! They choose a local church close to Aoife’s parents’ home to get married and then had their reception in stunning Longueville House in Mallow, Co. Cork, Ireland.

I absolutely love the 1950’s retro style Aoife and Michael chose for their day, with all the pops of bright red, including those fabulous Christian Louboutin shoes! Aoife’s & her Bridesmaids look so glamorous and like pin-up ladies in their fabulous Maggie Sottero and Ted Baker gowns. The Groomsmen look pretty dapper too.

But I can’t leave without mentioning that fabulous Cadillac! Talk about travelling in style, you have to see it’s so cool, just like our couple.

Vintage At The Millhouse.

Aoife-And-Damien

I have to say that I do love being able to blog an Irish wedding. Those beautiful folk from across the sea always seem to possess such style, such poise, all packaged up with a huge dollop of fun and Aoife and Damien’s big day is no exception.

This beautiful duo married at The Millhouse in Slane amidst pink roses and romantically ramshackle outhouses filled to the brim with character. Aoife told me that when she was younger she wanted to be Audrey Hepburn when she grew up and that her own wedding dress reminded her of something Audrey Hepburn might have worn in Funny Face. I have to say that I absolutely adore that comparison and that her ruminations aren’t far from the truth in my opinion.

Oh and there’s an ice-cream truck, a fantastic idea that just doesn’t get old in my opinion. If only I was lucky enough to attend a wedding where one turns up with its merry little tune….

Let’s take a look…
