Valentines Day has just passed but we’re still feeling the love and absolutely smitten with this incredible Spring Equinox inspiration at Thorpe Manor by Sian from Revival Rooms. The floral arrangements have completely taken our breath away, and as for the mosaic bath and edible flower wedding cake, that’s every girl’s dream ‘me time’ right there isn’t it… apart from perusing Rock My Wedding of course!
“Our florist Jay Archer is just an absolute female boss!”
Never before has a truer word been spoken, she has literally created floral genius at Amy & Darren’s outdoor ceremony at Whalton Manor in Northumberland. The use of brambles and dramatic crimson flowers and foliage in the floral arch framing the couples nuptials is nothing short or spectacular.
All captured beautifully be Andy Turner Photography, as well as all the emotion. It looks like there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
The reception took place in a PapaKata teepee which was also full of hanging florals, romantic votives, laughter and delicious food, and I can’t finish without saying what an absolute vision bride Amy looks in her Anna Campbell gown from Coco and Kate Boutique.
There is always a special place in our hearts for Shustoke Farm Barns in Birmingham, the architecture is absolutely spectacular and the team always come with such glowing reports. It’s why they are long standing members of our recommended supplier directory The Love Lust List.
Bride Daisy looks heavenly in a fitted Martina Liana gown from Coco & Kate bridal boutique (also a member of our directory), and have you seen the image of her veil and floral up do yet? I am definitely pinning that one. SO pretty. I also defy anybody not to get a lump in their throat when see the image of Daisy getting emotional at the altar with groom Karl holding her hand. All the feels.
As well as tones of emotion, Alex Tenters Photography has captured angles of Shustoke Farm Barns I never even knew existed, and the warm September light is. Just. Amazing. Not to mention the complimentary rustic green and white florals and decor. You simply have to stop what you’re doing and see this rustic wedding in all its glory, you won’t regret it.
Serious flower envy alert!
I absolutely adore the use of coral peonies by Honeysuckle Flower Co.. They have literally taken my breath away they are so immense. The bouquets, the flower crowns and floral centrepieces bring such a vibrancy to the vintage china tea cups, mis-match blue bridesmaid dresses and gorgeous Cripps Barn wedding venue.
The whole fantastically bohemian vintage tea party concept is an explosion of colour and fun. With quirky details including rose gold spray painted animals as place settings and a polaroid picture station. All the details are delicious, but it’s no wonder when Bride Sarah is a ridiculously creative art teacher.
This morning’s wedding is one which is very close to our hearts because it’s packed full of suppliers we’ve worked with for numerous years, who we are now lucky enough to call friends. Gorgeous Bride Lisa runs her own stationery and design company and creates gorgeous wedding stationery day in and day out, so we always knew her wedding would be beautiful. Then you throw in the styling prowess of Sundari, The Wedding Stylist, whose own wedding planning journey we shared on these very pages, and you’ve got yourself one seriously elegant, cohesively styled wedding.
Lisa looks absolutely stunning in her Anna Campbell gown and the gorgeous Maid of Honour? That’s our very own Becky – who had her second little boy just weeks before the big day! We KNOW, she’s amazing.
There’s so much gorgeousness to bring you that we’ve got a special feature on the design and details coming up on Sunday, so do check back at the weekend to read more. And if you love Lisa’s stationery as much as we do then you’ll be pleased to know that she has made Skye one of her house collections – you can see it in full here. But for now, I strongly urge you to get comfortable because this is one wedding you’ll want to savour…
