Whimsical Wedding At Aynhoe Park In The Cotswolds with Flower Crown

A whimsical wedding breaking all the traditions! The three-day-long affair at Aynhoe Park in the Cotswolds began with an “I Do BBQ’ where friends and family gathered the day before the ceremony to enjoy food and cocktails to kick off the celebration. The main event was the wedding itself, the bride tried 45 dresses before deciding on the one, which she managed to bag for a bargain price, this was paired with a pink flower crown to match her big bouquet! Shunning usual wedding formalities, the couple decided not to have any bridesmaids or groomsmen and do an emotional first look where they met in the venue’s orangery before the intimate ceremony. With personal vows and short but sweet speeches from both the bride and groom, the day was spent enjoying the relaxed ambience and fun party with their nearest and dearest!

Something to cheer you up on this miserable morning, an Oxfordshire wedding venue played host to a beautiful Winter celebration that brought together the Bride’s American Family with the Groom’s Northern Irish. Traditions from both sides were combined to create a fun-filled, emotional day, including a Ceilidh instead of a first dance that got all the guests on their feet. The Bride wore a detailed Gemy Maalouf dress with a faux fur cover-up to keep the chill out and had braided hair decorated with floral accessories. A very romantic winter wedding indeed!

Natalia & David

There are less than 100 days until Christmas people. I’m sorry to use the C word this early in the year, but this wedding is giving me ALL THE FESTIVE FEELS. The mist, the florals, the tweed, the CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!! Ahhhhhhh it’s just all so magical. Natalia & David chose the amazing Hyde House as their venue, and what a choice…everything looks perfect and I love the fact that the whole wedding party could crash there in the 20 stunning bedrooms. (Shot gun the one with the pink chesterfield).

I’m also loving that they served their stunning cake along with the bubbles and canapes before the wedding breakfast. This is such a good idea! Especially for a Winter wedding where a mid afternoon piece of cake is exactly what the doctor ordered. Enjoy lovelies – but be prepared to get excited for Christmas!!!
