Our couple today wanted a relaxed, fun, informal day and this is the perfect example of how a venue can really compliment the feeling you want to create on the day. Justina and Simon chose one of our gorgeous List member venues as the backdrop for their wedding, and an Elmley Nature Reserve wedding is always a spectacular wedding. They used local suppliers for food and the bar, as well as creating their own mini sports day. Seeing Justina beaming from ear to ear in the middle of the sack race is going to make your day!
Bride and Groom, Lucy and Jon had a glorious outside wedding ceremony at Elmely Nature Reserve with the picturesque countryside making a heavenly backdrop for their vows. They then partied the night away in the fabulous barn reception, which looked absolutely breathtaking covered in an abundance of colourful wild flower arrangements by the oh so talented Joanne Truby. It also included lots of homemade wooden signs, and a fabulous plant pot table plan, which I know will ALL be pinned within an inch of their lives.
Bride Lucy looks truly beautiful in an Alice Temperley gown, as do her bridesmaids in dusky pink beaded gowns from ASOS, all adding to the laid back boho vibes of the day. And capturing all this loveliness is the fabulous Lola Rose Photography, whose dreamy documentary style make this wedding even more special.
This wedding at Elmley Nature Reserve just screams family and love and will make you smile from ear to ear. Starting with Bride Bex’s beautiful bouquet of sunflowers. Then there is ALL the adorable DIY decor covering the outdoor ceremony and indoor rustic barn. From pom poms to bunting and handmade tablecloths, giving the venue a wonderful vintage vibe.
RMW favourites McKinley Rodgers Photography always manage to capture weddings in such an artistic, emotive way and it’s been a real pleasure putting this wedding together for you all. So sit back relax and enjoy all the inspiration, details, smiles and fabulous fashion.
