Ooh, la la! There’s nothing more romantic than a French destination wedding; it is the country of love, after all. Aby and Joe’s gorgeous day in Normandy is a dreamy mix of local traditions and personal touches, with homegrown flowers, fabulous French food and a DIY foliage altar. Aby looks très belle in her intricate lace and long-sleeved dress by Catherine Deane, matched by her beautiful boho hair, styled into a loose fishtail plait with gypsophila woven throughout. Oh, and keep an eye out for the croquembouche cakes studded with sparklers. Mouth. Watering.
Sophia & Sam got married at the church they attend; The Harbour Church in Portsmouth to be exact; an old converted department store filled with character, and the perfect spot for dreamy sunset rooftop wedding photos by Emily and Steve Photography.
There was live music throughout the day, sweet treats, and pizza! The love, DIY and effort went into making the whole wedding a fun and super stylish celebration is clear throughout, including tables handmade from scaffolding, which perfectly complimented the exposed brick and industrial feel of the church’s interior, and faces filled with so happiness, and joy.
How beautiful is Katie?! The relaxed fit of her dress is just gorgeous and you’d never know it was in fact a bargainous purchase from Coast. It just goes to show that YOU know your style best, so whether your dress is £10,000 or £100, if it feels right – then go for it.
That was pretty much the whole ethos of Katie and Ryan’s East London shindig anyway, they chose a venue that celebrated their love of music, allowed them to have a pizza van and just generally turn the blank canvas space into a cosy, rustic wedding heaven. Enjoy this one lovelies, it’s laid back and stylish, with a big dose of East End charm.
