If ever there was a time to have a keepsake of your engagement, now is that time. If you were planning for your wedding to take place in 2020, chances are, your plans have been impacted by Coronavirus. We know that this entire process has likely been tremendously difficult for you both and you may feel like you don’t want to remember it, but trust me when I say that you will look back on this and be proud of both your resilience and your relationship. We think that you should strongly consider an engagement shoot with your wedding photographer. And here are our reasons why:
This adorable couple has completely stolen my heart this afternoon. On a beautiful day at Mayfield Lavender Field, on what bride-to-be Dima thought was a normal couples portrait session, groom-to-be Nady completely surprised his now fiance with not only a gorgeous floral installation but an off the chart adorable surprise marriage proposal too. It’s not very often this magical moment in a couples history is captured so it’s especially nice to be able to share this wonderful moment with you today.
Like babies we’re not supposed to have favourites, but this Dirty Dancing lake lift engagement shoot by ALifeLessOrdinary Photography has definitely got to be up there with one of my all time favourite features. So innovative and so personal to this gorgeous couple, is what makes it so special. Not to mention the gorgeous colour saturation and edit of Gavin’s captures.
If there is one message that is clear from this pre wedding shoot it is to do whatever makes you happy, be that a lake lift, a stroll, or posed portraits. As your love will truly shine through and the memories will be there to treasure forever.
Oh boy are you in for a treat today! This ‘Blush Pink Opulent Engagement Party Inspiration’ will set you up for the perfect romantic weekend. Featuring rose gold accents, rich reds and an abundance of floral loveliness, delicious treats and luxe details.
Planned, styled and co-ordinated by the lovely Just Bespoke with a little help from her friends, perfectly demonstrating how a blank canvas can be transformed with a few key focal points, and a wonderful concept.
This engagement shoot couldn’t fill me with more joy. The lovely Katie Ingram Photography was able to capture the pure unadulterated love and happiness of her dear friends engagement, in what I can only describe as stunning portraits.
Heading to the Peak District and enjoying the gorgeous woodland, as well as being blessed with that breathtaking golden light. Not to mention a couple of dreams.
I’ve fallen hard for all of the bride and groom to be pictures, but the one of them on the log holds a special place in my heart, probably because it reminded me of the scene from Dirty Dancing.
Enjoy all the fabulous Friday feels lovely ones.
There’s nothing quite like some atmospheric engagement shoot pictures to get you in the mood for the weekend with your beau.
This bride and groom to be are completely and utterly wrapped up in each other making for the most adorable portraits by Matthias Toth Photographer. The coastal North Spain location is absolutely heavenly, and the love is so apparent, you won’t be able stop swooning
If you’re still on the fence about an engagement session, check out Bethan & Scott‘s atmospheric engagement shoot too, equally full of moody portraits to treasure and inspire you.
Would you just look at this gorgeous pair. They may not have been keen to begin with to have an engagement shoot, but the fabulous Carrie Lavers Photography won them over with her artistic style and ability to put them at ease.
The results are absolutely amazing and the love radiates from the page, just like all the gorgeous golden hour portraits captured.
Jenny and Fanis are just completely adorable, so stylish and their photoshoot turned into an actual wedding proposal, so I couldn’t resist sharing their beautiful images with you. I’m a sucker for a love story, especially one that takes place in the sunshine 😉 Fanis managed to surprise Jenny with the ring while they were enjoying have their photographs taken by good friends, Laura and Tommy at Lato Photography. It’s such a special moment to have captured on film. Good job Jenny was looking gorgeous in a chic black ensemble complete with floral crown.
Whether you’re having an engagement shoot or not, I think we can all enjoy the gorgeousness of Santorini and revel in Jenny and Fanis’ lovely images…let’s dive in shall we? Apologies in advance for the wanderlust and wardrobe envy viewing this post will cause!
These atmospheric pre wedding images by Carla Blain are seriously HOT.
I feel like I’m intruding on a private moment between this gorgeous pair, but I can’t look away.
As keen hikers, the Cwm Idwal in Snowdonia made the perfect location for all the moody portraits, but there isn’t a walking boot in sight. Bethan looks fierce in a satin gown, and Scott dapper in a blazer and chino combo, and together with each embrace, forehead kiss and holding of hands they will give you all the feels.
