Calling all bohemian brides-to-be: this fabulous festival wedding will knock your socks off (appropriate, really, when our bride and groom are also barefoot). Set in the stunning Catalan countryside, Natashya & Nico could not have nailed their brief better. A naked tipi, petal mandala, Persian rugs and electronic music capture every inch of the festival spirit, whilst lace bridal separates and a purty protea bouquet add the additional wedding pretty. This wedding weekend was clearly so. much. fun. Time to party!
Didn’t get tickets to Glastonbury? Don’t fret! This bold, boho wedding will knock your socks off. All the ingredients for a fabulous
festival wedding are included, from bell tents and tree-hung hammocks, to fire pits and wildflower meadows, to an array of musical and creative entertainment – as well as a traditional church wedding ceremony – we really wish we’d scored an invitation to this sunny Somerset celebration. With colourful bunting wedding decor and bright, locally-grown flowers keeping the feel-good feeling high, we truly are finishing the week off on a stunning note with this one.
I’ve seen many a festival wedding here on RMW, but none as dedicated to the cause as one. Nick and Ben transformed their home into an event site, complete with stretch tents, bars and live bands, DJs and entertainment for children! It looked absolutely incredible and I can’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate your marriage than with a mini festival just for your family and friends.
Look out for all of the fabulous decor details, such as the Prosecco piano and the beautiful floral installation in front of the stage…
This laid-back outdoor shindig is bringing all the Aussie-cool wedding vibes to RMW this afternoon. Gina and Kelvin wanted to create a festival wedding in a tipi, with lots of good food and drink, and it’s safe to say they totally nailed it. They even had a game of Prosecco pong, which meant that things got rather messy as night fell… like any good festival really!
Gina wore three different headpieces for her big day, because why the hell not?! As well as sporting a dazzling fringed wedding dress which was just perfect for this boho luxe day. Images come from Jason Williams, who not only captured this incredible set of images, but also went above and beyond to capture their legal ceremony, which was brought forward at the last minute, and a special moment with Grandad on the day too.
Apparently Britain is set for a cold snap this week, so we’re loving this Spring, boho, festival themed wedding this morning. Radiating with gorgeous sunlight and love, and filled with the prettiest pastel floral arrangements and crowns.
Be sure to stick around for the epic smoke bomb capture by Kirsty MacKenzie Photography too. Coloured flares are one of the hottest wedding trend to come out of 2018, which I’m sure we’ll see continue into 2019 as well.
There is so much love and colour filling this outdoor festival wedding it is guaranteed to brighten your day.
Starting with the bridal party’s flower crowns popping against their crisp white dresses and following through to the outdoor ceremony arbour and hanging installation in the tipi. If you don’t pin at least one of these immense set ups I’d be very surprised.
As you’d expect from a festival wedding, there are smiles and laughter ‘a-‘plenty, all captured beautifully by RMW favourite Maryanne Weddings, and none more so than from the bride and groom themselves who enjoy every minute of their unique day.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that can offer you a truly authentic festival experience, The Wyldes is the place for you. Nestled in the heart of the North Cornish countryside with acres of farmland for camping, beautiful tree copses perfect for woodland ceremonies and various stages (imagine marrying on the main stage!) – all ready and waiting for you to take over with your friends and family. Hosting your own wedfest has never been easier!
And to help get your creative juices flowing, stylist Lucy and her fantastic team have put together a free spirited, rock’n’roll inspired editorial. If a wedding filled with live music and partying until dawn sound like your idea of heaven, then this is the one for you…
Irene Yap is a legend behind the lens, beautifully capturing epic moments at this festival and feather filled wedding weekend at The Copse in Berkshire. It certainly helps that bride and groom Tara and Ben are ridiculously cool and totally into each other. The love and laughter they share is off the chart and will have you beaming from ear to ear.
The couple envisioned, designed and made all the decorations at their natural stretch tent reception, not without a little help from their family and friends, and not without a good old helping of planning and style from Wedding Planner Jenna Hewitt.
Add a truly stunning bespoke gown, a pizza van, and a dressing up box and you have the makings of one hell of a wedding.
Talk about a seriously fun festival wedding.
The relaxed vibes of the humanist, woodland ceremony and marquee reception is so apparent from all the wonderful captures by Miss Gen photography you actually feel like you are there celebrating with this amazing couple and their friends and family.
And what an entourage of favourite people they have. The wedding party snaps are seriously cool, mainly due to those epic red bridesmaid dresses and flowers crowns, not to mention the brides Reformation gown, and the grooms In Tweed suit.
Add hanging foliage garlands and bauble decor, plus a delicious semi naked wedding cake, and you have the makings of an immense summer wedding to swoon over. Enjoy.
