Bridesmaids In Charcoal Grey For A Foliage Filled Winter Wedding

Every last detail of Debbie and Liam’s foliage filled winter wedding was loving sourced or created by the couple, along with a little help from family and friends…

The final result is beautiful, cohesive and elegant, never straying from the white, grey and green colour palette, which works perfectly with the dark and woody tones of The West Mill.

Debbie chose our favourite Maya dresses in charcoal grey for her bridesmaids, and don’t they look gorgeous? It’s a dark shade, particularly for weddings, but I can’t think of a dress better suited to this occasion quite frankly, it’s the perfect blend of sequin and tulle.

Images come from the lovely Grace Elizabeth. Her style is so beautiful, it’s always a pleasure to feature Grace’s work.

Tamara & Tom

Hands up if you’ve ever played the game what would you do if you were stranded on an island? Well how about getting married on one?! Temple Island in Oxfordshire is simply magical and most definitely brings the wow factor to this couples outdoor ceremony. Add a glasshouse marquee covered in foliage and copper accents, and you have a mesmerising display of botanical beauty.

Our leading lady and man are the adorable Tamara and Tom. Who look utterly divine together. Tamara’s braided up do with gypsohhila detail is incredible and will certainly get your pinning fingers twitching.

Each image by Belle and Beau photography in their delicate fine art photography style, beautifully illustrates the love and wonderment of this unique wedding on the Thames.

Tara & Ben

Irene Yap is a legend behind the lens, beautifully capturing epic moments at this festival and feather filled wedding weekend at The Copse in Berkshire. It certainly helps that bride and groom Tara and Ben are ridiculously cool and totally into each other. The love and laughter they share is off the chart and will have you beaming from ear to ear.

The couple envisioned, designed and made all the decorations at their natural stretch tent reception, not without a little help from their family and friends, and not without a good old helping of planning and style from Wedding Planner Jenna Hewitt.

Add a truly stunning bespoke gown, a pizza van, and a dressing up box and you have the makings of one hell of a wedding.

Firuze & Mark

Right people, this is a wedding you need to settle down for. Go and get a cup of tea and get comfortable. It’s FULL of gorgeous images because Miss Gen is behind the lens and quite frankly, I couldn’t whittle down the selection any more. She’s an absolute master of wedding photography and these photographs are giving me all the feels.

Firuze and Mark are also a pretty special couple – obviously they are rather easy on the eye, but they’ve been through a lot and so their wedding day was a very important occasion for them. Enjoy the images and words from Firuze, their story will bring a tear to your eye and the details will make you swoon. We’re so thrilled to share their big day with you all…

Summer Styling Reimagined with The List

After falling in love with the incredible floral creations of Philippa Craddock at the recent Royal Wedding it felt only right that we work with our amazing, handpicked wedding suppliers from The List to bring you both inspirational and achievable ideas taking inspiration from this romantic and elegant look. I think you’d be hard pushed to find anyone, anywhere who failed to swoon over that stunning green foliage and white floral archway at the west door of St George’s Chapel and who doesn’t want a bit of that swoon on their own magical day?! Whilst Summer styling often includes pastel hues and rustic decor, today we’ve gathered inspiration for a somewhat more understated, refined look (aside from the flowers of course, they are off the chart) which should no longer be reserved for destination weddings.

Anabel & Callum

Millar Cole Photography delivers a dream in imagery. Hoxton Hall isdraped in enough faux foliage to recreate a forest for this “Turkish / Scottish / Victorian theatrical riot” of a wedding.

Self-styled by the Bride, Anabel, the day is a perfect combination of her husband’s Scottish roots with her Turkish heritage and is carried out with such romanticism and creativity. The venue is dressed impeccably, especially the table decor. It reminds me of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream, whimsical, dreamlike and packs a punch to the senses.

Anabel says her I Do’s dripping in 1950’s layered vintage lace from House Of Vintage Bride but changes to a hot pink 1970’s caped evening dress for dancing.

With Entertainment at the top of the budget for this wedding, you can see it is well spent,  it looks like everyone had a total blast.

Spoiler, things you’ll want to pin – lace vintage, Croque en Bouche, faux foliage, how to dress your venue, favours.

Lovers At Loe Bar

Today’s gorgeous inspiration shoot is a little bleak, but that’s just how I like it. There’s an ethereal romanticism to the beach in Winter and Olivia Bossert has captured that perfectly in this shoot. From the detail on the Jesus Peiro gown, to the gorgeous seascape surrounding the couple, it’s dreamy from start to finish.

I’m in LOVE with the hair and make up too, Ione has serious talent and that halo twist combined with loose waves and a gold headpiece has stolen my heart.

Think Wuthering Heights by the sea, with better clothes and lots of flowers 😉 and you’ll be ready to throw yourselves into this shoot…

Abby & Mark

Oh I do love a laid back wedding, with bohemian styling, lots of Bridesmaids in white and a stunning Daughters of Simone wedding dress…

And it just so happens that Abby and Mark’s wedding contains all of those things! I know, how convenient 😉 If this sounds like your idea of wedding heaven too, then prepare to be dazzled. It’s the perfect wedding for a Sunday, relaxed, a strong party vibe and gorgeous fashion. Images come from Anna Hardy and the film comes from Love Lust List recommended suppliers Shoot Me Now – so make sure you’ve got a cup of tea and are sitting comfortably – you’ll want to savour this one!

Amy & Nick

I’m really excited to share this wedding with you, as gorgeous Bride Amy is wearing a dress by Needle & Thread, one of my favourite high street Bridal designers of the moment. Their dresses are decadently embellished, cut beautifully and offer something a little bit different to the rest of the Bridal world.

Amy and Nick’s venue is actually of a similar vein, a recently converted mill in Derbyshire, The West Mill is industrial yet rustic and the perfect blank canvas for a stylish big day, it definitely offers something very different venue wise.
