There is no denying I’m a magpie for pretty things, that’s why I absolutely adore this editorial beautifully showcasing the new Hermione Harbutt bridal accessories collection. She caterers for all bridal styles and is sure to have one if not two or more bridal accessories that will catch your eye. Shall we take a look..?
I’ve long been an admirer of Hermione Harbutt’s beautiful accessories. Hermione has been designing and handcrafting her pieces for years now and her name always comes up when we’re looking for bridal accessories with a difference. She has created pieces for hundreds of brides and each of her collections is at the forefront of bridal style year after year after year. I stumbled across her Bristol studio on a weekend in the city a while ago and fell in love with feel and style of her brand in the flesh too (a moment that Hermione has no idea about FYI)!
The 2018 collection brings gold into her repertoire for the first time – which I’m loving as I adore the look of gold jewellery. There’s also a nod to the current celestial trend with some seriously pretty star hair clips. My favourite piece (although it’s really hard to choose) is that gorgeous golden halo worn with the lightest of veils. The whole collection is divine though and has been brought together to perfection by this wonderful shoot…
This morning we’re jetting off to Marrakech for a glorious light and colour infused wedding at Fawakay Villas. Annabel and Mike said their vows against a backdrop of sunshine, strutting peacocks and the most amazing fire show whilst guests sipped their drinks poolside.
I particularly love that Annabel opted for a rose gold frock from David Fielden which suits her and the exotic venue perfectly. Come and take a look…
Weddings by the sea are my absolute favourite, so I’m in love with today’s gorgeous cliff top wedding from Dorset.
Heidi and Peter chose to hold their ceremony outdoors, a brave move with our temperamental weather…but it definitely paid off, as it meant that they could marry underneath an impressive green oak arch handcrafted by lovely Groom Peter, surrounded by pine trees and with a breath taking, uninterrupted view of the sea.
The whole wedding is full of natural and rustic details, from the seasonal handpicked blooms, to the cedar shingle bunting – unfussy, relaxed, but ever so pretty. Perfect for a venue which is surrounded by wonderful nature.
Heidi and Peter have written their wedding report together and it’s lovely to hear from a Groom who had so much input into the big day.
