This cute couple hired a wonderful house in the countryside, bought sandwiches and cakes from M&S, played badminton and croquet had a Garden Party with their closest friends and family. The decor, with its pops of colour, is a perfect compliment to the lush green of the countryside. Did someone say Garden Goals? We did!

When it’s grey and cold outside I can easily get distracted dreaming of long lazy days in warmer climes. The choices for a sunny getaway are endless, and – if the holiday in question is your honeymoon – it deserves extra daydreaming and planning. But,where should you go? And which are the best hotels to visit? The ones worthy of that all-important holiday.
I have an ongoing love affair with beautiful hotels. For me the stay is almost as important as the destination itself – sometimes more so – so it’s essential to seek out the perfect hideaway. Your honeymoon is the one time you can really go to town (and, one hopes, a once-in-a-lifetime holiday), so I personally feel it’s a chance to choose one of those hotels that leaves you speechless. I know I did. Think infinity pools, lush landscapes, exquisite food and decor to die for.
I’ve always loved going on holiday, mainly to feel a bit of sunshine on my face – but before Dean and I got together neither of us would particularly have said that we had a penchant for travelling as such.
We have certainly made up for lost time though, and now exploring new places together tops our favourite things to do. We normally manage to get abroad, at least for long weekends if not a full holiday, about two or three times a year, and we spend as much of the interim time exploring England as we can too.
So wedding planning was a bit of a double-edged sword to our wanderlust bug. On one hand, we knew it meant we wouldn’t be able to squeeze in the quantity (or, perhaps more accurately, frequency) in our 2017 travel list, but on the other we knew that the quality that the honeymoon would bring would make it well worth the wait.
If you are currently dreaming of white sandy beaches, endless sunshine and adventures then read on. I certainly know I am. Booking your Honeymoon is such a fun part of wedding planning and you can while away hours dreaming of your ideal destination. But what if you could win your honeymoon? And I’m not talking a week in Skegness either. I’m talking epic Mr & Mrs Smith hotels and amazing scenery in fabulous Sri Lanka. Well now you have a chance to do just that.
If you’re looking for somewhere a little unusual to hold your wedding ceremony, then let me introduce you to The Stack. A converted 19th Century Cornish Engine house set in the idyllic hamlet of Trelion, Cornwall, it really is a magical place to have an intimate, house party style wedding for up to 40 guests.
