Pinterest overwhelm is a common ailment that many brides-to-be suffer from, but can you imagine how bad it is when you actually WORK AT PINTEREST?!?!? Yep, Bride Jade works at Pinterest. Very cool job – probably a little much when it comes to wedding planning! But Jade tackled it like a pro, keeping her cool and using it to organise her ideas and pull off the beautiful wedding you see below. Naturally RMW had a little role to play (not ones to blow our own trumpet, but we have a reach of 9 million on Pinterest 😉 #justsaying) and our gorgeous couple found their venue, photographer and videographer using real weddings right here. Smug faces all round because it genuinely brings us so much joy to help people have the best day ever. We’re so lucky to share these weddings with you all and Jade and Thomas’ big day by Modern Vintage Weddings is an absolute stunner. Enjoy everyone!
How gorgeous and happy does this bridal party look?? I’m absolutely in love with the ruffled sleeve dresses, the tousled hair and floral details. Then there’s bride Vanessa who looks absolutely stunning in Inbal Dror (one of the designers featured in our wedding dress guide posted last week).
Chris Barber was the man to capture this wedding day, so expect lots of smiles, fun and frolics. Vanessa and Calum found him right here too, so it’s fabulous to be able to share their wedding day with you all. Enjoy!
The emotion of this city wedding really shines through all the pictures captured by David Jenkins Photography. Everybody is full of smiles and having a good time, non more so than our gorgeous bride and groom Goldie & Rick.
Rick’s face literally says it all the moment Goldie enters The Asylum ceremony in her breathtaking lace Inbal Dror gown, there is no denying how absolutely jaw dropping-ly beautiful she looks, plus her face equally lights up as they say their vows at the iconic and atmospheric altar filled with church candles.
I have serious hair envy. The fact that Bride Alice can pull off a top knot on her wedding day is giving me major green eyes. I wish I looked that cool with my hair piled on top of my head!!! And while we’re on the subject, I have serious dress envy too. Inbal Dror gowns are the stuff of Bridal dreams and Alice totally owns hers.
The whole day is so effortlessly stylish, but looks really fun too – which is obviously just the best combination for a wedding day. Alice & Steven have known each other since they were tiny and so their families have been in each others lives for a long time too and I think you can see that from the photographs. Plus the couple held their wedding at Alice’s parents stunning barn, so naturally things felt like home.
It really is a lovely wedding and the images from Gem at Cotton Candy Photography tell the story of the day perfectly…
If not, prepare to be blown away. Inbal’s gowns are exquisite – obviously the highest quality fabrics and finishes are a given with dressmaking at this level – but the actual designs themselves take flattering the female form to the next level. Plunging necklines, sexy shoulder reveals, dramatically nipped-in waists and wide, sweeping mermaid trains make for show stopping dresses.
Inbal cut her teeth in fashion capital of the world, Milan, alongside masters of the trade. Returning to her home country of Israel, she opened a Bridal salon and took the Bridal world by storm.
The 2015 collection, inspired by Venice and it’s ancient history of elegant architecture, is truly breathtaking.
