Stefanie & Ravi

Whenever we feature gorgeous destination weddings I always want to jet off immediately and visit the gorgeous location. La Bastide de Gordes in Provence, France is no exception, with M & J Photography capturing the gorgeous views over the valley and the Luberon mountains as well as all the love and pretty of Stefanie & Ravi’s elegant outdoor wedding perfectly.

The picture of Ravi wiping away a tear as Stefanie arrives in her gorgeous satin fishtail bridal gown is priceless, as is the one of them giggling down the aisle after they are pronounced husband and wife in front of their family and friends. Also can we just take a moment to appreciate that gorgeous reception set up & florals, with those gorgeous chair backs being made from sentimental pieces of lace from Stefanie’s Grandma.

I am literally swooning as I type, as everything about this wedding so heart wrenchingly beautiful.

Nicole & Ben

Everything about this wedding is just so beautiful, from Nicole’s gorgeous dresses, to the flowers, to the incredible location – it’s just a absolute treat to be sharing it with you today. Having family based all over the world, Nicole and Ben decided that a wedding at the North Shore in Hawaii was the perfect place for them, as Nicole had spent lots of her childhood there. Nicole is clearly a very stylish and creative lady, and she has managed to combined a lush, wild, and romantic theme with subtle nods to her Asian heritage and the couple’s love of travel. The whole look is simply stunning and I’ve been swooning over the floral arrangements for hours while putting this feature together.

Nicole sadly lost her Mum as a teenager and so the couple decided to honour her mother’s Chinese heritage with a traditional Chinese lion dance to surprise their guests, and you can see from the images that that was a truly magical moment.

We’re really excited to tell you that Nicole & Ben’s photographers, husband and wife duo Tupou Photography are actually relocating to the UK this summer, so do get in touch with them if you fall for their emotive and natural style.

Becca & Sam

Sam & Becca’s wedding is raw, elemental and utterly utterly beautiful. The pair choose to elope to the Isle of Skye from their native New York albeit with a few friends and family too and say their vows against the wild backdrop of a windswept island.

I am in love with all of it.

Becca’s wise words below really resonate with me – she says of the decision to elope to Skye…’we truly felt like we began our marriage by making a declaration not only with our vows, but also with our actions…and going someplace new made us feel like we were starting off our marriage with a tangible representation of that….’ and I totally get that.

I think it’s oh so easy to forget (myself included) amongst the million decisions about decor and flowers and food that actually the most important thing is the love between you and your partner and your declaration of your commitment to each other. And really, as you’ll see in the photos below captured so wonderfully by Tub of Jelly, that’s all you need.

Fiona & Tom

I really really do love a green and pink wedding colour theme; it’s super pretty but fresh at the same time and has a timelessness that won’t date as the years roll by. Combine this with an exquisite venue such as The Rectory Hotel and you’ve got a match made in heaven which is pretty much how I’d describe the nuptials of Fiona and Tom.

Full of fun and whimsical details such as the beautiful floral inspired stationery by Berin Made and the supersized balloons that are dotted around the venue, there’s just so much inspiration to take away from this ‘I Do’ – look out for the heart door wreath; it is particularly lovely!

Anna & Will

This elegant, totally timeless wedding from French venue Chateau de Lartigolle is simply stunning. It’s all about classic tailoring, simple seasonal blooms and local food and the result is just magical. Anna’s Pronovias dress fits like a glove and with her hair pinned up, her bone structure looks incredible. Groom Will cuts a handsome figure in his J.Crew suit too, and the pair just look so happy and in love.

The photography from Darek Smietana is gorgeous as well, his images have captured that glowing, soft French light to perfection and we also love the emotions portrayed too. It’s a real pleasure to share this lovely wedding with you all this morning.

Hannah & Simon

Possibly one of the most creative wedding themes I have ever witnessed – and I have seen a lot. Hannah and Simon created a “great partnerships” theme including some of the expected greats such as Romeo and Juliet to Del-Boy and Rodney and Ross and Rachel (!)…..GENIUS. The groom even hand drew and painted all of the centre piece cool couple illustrations himself, quite the talent. And the perfect unique addition to such a spectacular display of statement florals.

The backdrop of the ever popular venue Cripps Barn was beautiful, as are the portraits captured by The Love Lust List member David Wickham at Modern Vintage Weddings. And Hannah’s Suzanne Neville gown? the epitome of timeless elegance and sophistication.

Heather & Richard

This mornings sunshine filled Mallorcan wedding will appeal to your inner Princess – Heather’s tulle gown is the stuff of little girls dreams – and she’s happy to report that wearing it made her feel like she was in a fairytale. Which as far as I’m concerned is exactly how you should feel on your wedding day! I love her delicate rose gold jewellery too, the perfect touch of colour which is reflected in the decor as well – those flower vases are just gorgeous.

And wait until you see the venue – getting married outside underneath gorgeous foliage and the warm Spanish sun must be absolute heaven!

Emma & Stuart

We’re starting the week off with a fabulous outdoor woodland wedding at Whetstead Farm in Tonbridge Kent complete with hanging sofa swing, reggae tree house and tipi reception.

It was the perfect venue to host Emma & Stuart’s festival themed wedding and music soon became the inspiration for their planning. The seating plan was made out of records and each table was named after an album. I also LOVE the genius idea of having personal cassette tapes as place names too. I wonder what mine would have been…..

If it wasn’t enough that Emma had a B.E.A.utiful Pronovias lace & feather gown, she also had a second dress from ASOS so she could dance the night away to their funky Rollin Stoned band. I absolutely adore the laid back vibe of this fun & quirky wedding and the dressing up box looks like it brought so much fun & entertainment to the day.

A Weekend Wedding At Iscoyd

Cover-Image

You know when a bride has chosen to marry at Iscoyd Park then you are in for a treat. The venue is stunning and the service and experience you get from Phil and his team is second to none. We are proud to have them on our Love Lust List.

Elspeth and Marcus had a really chilled out wedding with family arriving for a BBQ in the grounds of the venue on the Friday before. This set the vibe for the weekend, fine foods, flowing wine and a party atmosphere.
