Get ready to fall under a floral spell today as you marvel at all the beautiful white and green floral arrangements this Isle of Wight wedding has to offer. The church wedding flowers, in particular, have absolutely blown me away, reminding me of a certain Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding flowers. Plus, just wait until you see the back of bride Crystal’s St Patrick wedding dress, it is heavenly. All the amazingness has been captured by, The List, recommended supplier, Jason Mark Harris, who never fails to move us with his wonderful documentary-style photography. Enjoy.
Sometimes, we all need to step back and remind ourselves what is truly important in life. If your wedding planning journey is starting to feel overwhelming or stressful – and we’ve all been there – then please take some time today to read this beautiful and brave account of one of the most incredible weddings we’ve featured on these pages. Our words cannot do justice to what it means to marry your beloved in this manner, so we will leave you in the hands of amazing Elle, a bride who epitomises what your wedding really is all about: everlasting love. (Trigger warning: please have tissues to hand.)
Prepare to fall head over heels (and down a rabbit hole) with this English countryside wedding, inspired by the story of Alice in Wonderland. American couple Allie & Justin fell in love with each other at the same time as falling in love with England, so there was only ever one place where they were going to start their happily ever after. Babington House is a stunning venue, and allowed the couple to host a four-day celebration for their friends and family, including a welcome brunch and farewell BBQ, as well as plenty of time to kick back, relax and enjoy the weekend (oh hello Cowshed spa!). With travel having been a cornerstone of their relationship, I love the compass motif incorporated throughout, and can’t get enough of the beautiful blooms, which are playful, wild and whimsical. Loose yourselves in this one, lovelies. It’s enchanting.
When the family home looks as beautiful as bride Sarah’s it really is a no brainer to hold the wedding there. Making excellent use of the stunning gardens and following the ‘English Country’ theme through to the marquee reception with epic hanging foliage garlands and hoops.
Sarah looks incredible in a Rime Arodaky gown, giving the illusion of bridal separates with its cutaway top under the lace overlay. As do her bridesmaids in blush pink dresses from the high street. Keeping with tradition the groomsmen opt for morning suits, and together this wedding party are pure goals.
The wonderful photography skills of Jason Mark Harris were on hand making this collection of images a delight to pore over.
Lainston House is the backdrop for an elegant, sophisticated traditional wedding. We have featured this lovely venue before here. The bride shines in Jenny Packham and the Groom and his Groomsmen look fabulous in morning suits and grey waistcoats from Buckleigh of London.
Everything is connected beautifully, from the brick of the stunning venue and the blush rose gold details in the flowers and stationery. The style of the bridesmaid’s gown, the bride’s gown and the suits compliment each other and remain on the theme.
Jason Mark Harris is an RMW recommended supplier as a member of The List and has captured the day perfectly. In fact, this wedding features other recommended suppliers Dan Dolan Films and Alive Network. We love reading such lovely words about suppliers we chose to list in our exclusive directory if you are planning a wedding you really must stop by.
We always get a little bit excited when we know we’ve got a Jason Mark Harris wedding to share with you, he really does get the loveliest of brides and grooms, and captures every inch of their day with such passion and creativity.
This adorable Summer wedding took place at the couples home in a marquee, all exquisitely decorated in white florals and silver accents with the help of Peri Peri Events. Bride Amelie looks a knockout in a lace Pronovias bridal gown, and the portraits of her and groom Joe under the pergola are just off the chart.
I can’t think of a better photographer than Jason Mark Harris to capture this gorgeous ‘Middle-earth’ wedding. Everything is beautifully atmospheric and rich with a warm colour palette of reds and oranges, all lit up by ambient candle and festoon lights.
Although it is a Lord of the Rings themed wedding, all the decor has been tastefully incorporated. From the fabulous map wedding stationery, to the floral centrepieces, including a Shire Hobbit hole for the top table. Much of the decor was DIY’ed too making it all extra special.
Taking centre stage amongst all this fantasy and splendour are the adorable bride and groom, April and Oliver, who look absolutely perfect in lace and tweed, not to mention besotted with one another. And having loved the process so much, now offer rustic and vintage prop hire through their business, Shire Hire
This incredibly pretty, destination wedding comes with a tissue warning. The emotional first look and outdoor wedding ceremony captures by Jason Mark Harris are absolute tear jerkers. Which is exactly what you want from your wedding photographs.
Then come all the candle light reception pics, which scream luxe. Just like the wedding party attire. Hello there groomsmen in Tuxedos and wowsers bridesmaids and bride in Monique Lhuillier gowns.
The blush pink, pure white and greenery flower arrangements will also have you picking your jaw up from the floor, so get yourself comfortable and enjoy this one lovelies, it’s a goodie.
