We’re treating you to a double whammy of talent today in the form of RMW recommended suppliers Darek Smietana Photography and Ben Walton Films, whose captures of this destination wedding at Chateau de Lartigolle in France are soo dreamy! Basked in glorious sunshine, and full of foliage, Lydia & Anogie’s outdoor reception will have you clingy onto the last days of Summer with all your might.
Sarah wore THE most elegant Jesus Peiro wedding dress! You would never guess today’s farm wedding was the first at this stunning venue or in fact, 18 months previous it was a disused cattle barn. The Willow Marsh Farm venue in the East Midlands has literally blown us with its beauty and wonderful tale accompanying its history. Bride and Groom Sarah and Simon worked tirelessly to bring to life their perfect wedding and Matt Horan has captured it and this gorgeous couple perfectly. We have a feeling The Willow Marsh Farm is going to have a busy summer next year, as let’s face it who wouldn’t want to get married here. Insert multiple heart emoji’s.
Where to begin with this purple wedding? Let’s start with the rich colours and show-stopping floral moon gate which I’m sure you’ve pinned even before you’ve finished reading this sentence! Next, there’s a gold patisserie station full of individual treats that look, and I have on good authority, tasted divine. Plus the cutest cockapoo ring bearer and wedding party that totally rocked their Jesus Peiro and Needle & Thread dresses. When we deliver, we deliver, don’t we… You’re welcome.
Get ready to swoon as the lovely We Are The Bazeleys and Kayleigh Pope Photography show us how to do fierce bridal style. There are gorgeous Jesus Peiro wedding dresses straight from the Barcelona Bridal Week catwalks, as well as statement jewellery, natural makeup and feminine wedding hairstyles. Plus, dried flowers and props from our friends Karen at Passion for Flowers and Gemma from The Wedding of My Dreams. Not to mention the gorgeous Compton Verney in Warwickshire playing host to all this minimalist magic.
I love this pair and their slightly eccentric, but oh-so British wedding day. Classic cars, elegant fashion and dapper gentlemen make this Goodwood wedding completely timeless through and through. With Jess and Tom’s Austin 7 Ulster car almost stealing the show, it’s a wedding that’s full of fun and surprises. Outfit changes for both the bride and groom, plus a giant caterpillar cake make this wedding one of the most original I’ve seen for a long time. Clearly a wonderful time was had by all – the music and dancing looks like such fun.
This pair found their photographers, Green Antlers, here on RMW, which we always love to read. Let’s enjoy the images shall we?
Two things stand out at this adorable village wedding, and that’s the Military suits and beautiful blooms. There is something so fairytale-esque when a groom wears a uniform, and the couples love story will definitely give you all the feels.
You will probably fall head over heels for all the florals by Swallows and Damsons too, every bit as gorgeous as their instagram feed, and beautifully decorating the marquee reception, not to mention providing the bridal party with bouquets of pretty to hold.
Mike Plunkett‘s gorgeous photography style captured all the love, light and decor and will have you feeling like you are right there celebrating this lovely union.
Ok, let’s face it when your wedding venue is Soho Farmhouse you have already racked up some serious awesome points. Mix in an insanely beautiful, vintage style dress by Jesus Peiro from Morgan Davies Bridal, a dapper Groom in not one but two epic suits from Beggars Run, stunning bell sleeve Bridesmaid dresses, Tambourine wedding favours personalised with hand Calligraphy, obvs, and walk in to your wedding reception to ‘Return of the Mac’! We’re all over it. All, over, it!
Soho Farmhouse manages its internal catering, planning and floral design with a creative flair that I suppose you should expect from Oxfordshire’s exclusive resort, however, it delivers above and beyond and each respective area should be celebrated for that.
Delighted Lee Robbins from deliciously cool Robbins Photographic shared this magic with us and we get to share it with you.
It’s so lovely to see a coastal wedding gracing our pages, especially as it’s right here in the UK. The Gallivant in Camber to be exact, where the wedding party crossed the sand dunes, set off smoke bombs and looked totally fierce. Epic Love Story also captured some more intimate shots of Rachel & James dancing in the surf and walking off into the golden sunset which are just off the chart adorable.
The homemade cake, DIY decor and laid back vibes of this wedding is absolutely incredible as is the fashion. I am especially jealous of Rachel’s bright pink Hangisi Manolo Blahnik shoes, and doesn’t she look stunning in her Jesus Peiro gown.
If you’re having a marquee wedding and are worried about how to make it look beautiful inside – then please take your lead from Becky and Sam. This clever pair opted for a marquee with clear sides, a gorgeous draped ceiling and added lots of hanging lanterns, making the space feel like an extension of the house, rather than a tent. The festoon lights providing a ‘ceiling’ to their outdoor seating area, again creating a space that felt purposeful, rather than accidental.
A wonderful marquee wasn’t Becky and Sam’s only excellent decision, this is clearly a couple with great taste, as every detail of their wedding day is elegant and cohesive. Celebrating their coastal location in Jersey and it’s affinity to France, everything is light and breezy. You can almost smell the lavender 😉
Images come from the wonderful team at Wedding_M, whose work it’s always a real pleasure to share. Look out for the incredible shots of Becky and Sam whizzing off into the sunset…and the gorgeous couple shots on the beach too!
