Rachel & James

It’s so lovely to see a coastal wedding gracing our pages, especially as it’s right here in the UK. The Gallivant in Camber to be exact, where the wedding party crossed the sand dunes, set off smoke bombs and looked totally fierce. Epic Love Story also captured some more intimate shots of Rachel & James dancing in the surf and walking off into the golden sunset which are just off the chart adorable.

The homemade cake, DIY decor and laid back vibes of this wedding is absolutely incredible as is the fashion. I am especially jealous of Rachel’s bright pink Hangisi Manolo Blahnik shoes, and doesn’t she look stunning in her Jesus Peiro gown.

Becky & Sam

If you’re having a marquee wedding and are worried about how to make it look beautiful inside – then please take your lead from Becky and Sam. This clever pair opted for a marquee with clear sides, a gorgeous draped ceiling and added lots of hanging lanterns, making the space feel like an extension of the house, rather than a tent. The festoon lights providing a ‘ceiling’ to their outdoor seating area, again creating a space that felt purposeful, rather than accidental.

A wonderful marquee wasn’t Becky and Sam’s only excellent decision, this is clearly a couple with great taste, as every detail of their wedding day is elegant and cohesive. Celebrating their coastal location in Jersey and it’s affinity to France, everything is light and breezy. You can almost smell the lavender 😉

Images come from the wonderful team at Wedding_M, whose work it’s always a real pleasure to share. Look out for the incredible shots of Becky and Sam whizzing off into the sunset…and the gorgeous couple shots on the beach too!

Cecily & Jamie

Cecily and Jamie’s big day is just all so pretty, from Cecily’s gorgeous customised Jesus Peiro gown (that bow!!! Those sleeves!!!) to the stunning florals by The Rose Shed, every detail is delightful.

The couple chose boutique hotel Holm House to hold their reception and had exclusive use so close family and friends could stay over. Their brunch the following day sounds like such a lovely idea, the perfect way to combat any hangovers and relive moments from the night before.

Lauren & Tom

If there was ever a time for an epic dessert table, then Sunday morning is it. Lauren and Tom filled Healey Barn with foliage, white flowers and lots and lots of cake. Lauren looked stunning in a high necked Jesus Peiro gown and her bridesmaids added the most gorgeous pop of something-blue in multiway dresses.

Images come from Sarah-Jane Ethan, whose soft and romantic style never fails to put a smile on my face. Enjoy this one beauties, it’s elegant yet rustic and oh so perfectly styled.

Lovers At Loe Bar

Today’s gorgeous inspiration shoot is a little bleak, but that’s just how I like it. There’s an ethereal romanticism to the beach in Winter and Olivia Bossert has captured that perfectly in this shoot. From the detail on the Jesus Peiro gown, to the gorgeous seascape surrounding the couple, it’s dreamy from start to finish.

I’m in LOVE with the hair and make up too, Ione has serious talent and that halo twist combined with loose waves and a gold headpiece has stolen my heart.

Think Wuthering Heights by the sea, with better clothes and lots of flowers 😉 and you’ll be ready to throw yourselves into this shoot…

Amy & Dan

If you’re planning a destination wedding in France, then I highly recommend you read through this wedding with a notebook and pen, as Bride Amy has tonnes of great advice for tackling the difficulties you may encounter. Even if you’re not getting married abroad, I think we can all appreciate the beautiful blooms and decor here…

Amy looked incredible in Jesus Peiro, she tells us that this dress was miles away from what she imagined she’d end up choosing, so don’t be afraid to try on ALL the dresses, you never know which gown will end up being ‘the one!’

And if you’re looking for a destination photographer who will shoot your wedding in a natural, romantic style, then Sebastien Boudot is your man. Amy and Dan found him right here on Rock My Wedding when looking at real weddings, so lets continue the circle! You can get in touch via his website.

Katie & Tommy

Katie & Tommy love London city, so the search was on to have a day full of everything they love, including a boat ride of the Thames.

They stumbled across Trinity Buoy Wharf which is a great dry hire venue and meant they could have a wedding that truly reflected them. There’s hanging lanterns, trestle tables and paper origami boat name place tags as well as a sweet treat Kinder Surprise favour. Plus the most spectacular paper flower altar backdrop made by Katie’s super talented Mum which you are going to absolutely LOVE.

But onto our gorgeous Bride, she is the picture of elegance in her Jesús Peiró gown, and her laser cut Rupert Sanderson shoes….let’s just say you have to see them….oh my I’m green with envy!

Hannah & Luke

Ahhh how elegant does everyone look at this wedding? It’s so lovely to see Bridesmaids in rich dark purple floor length gowns, the boys in tails and gorgeous Bride Hannah in a structured dress by Jesus Peiro. Just because you’re having a barn wedding, it doesn’t mean that you have to have rustic or bohemian styling, and Gate Street Barn is a fabulous venue for versatility – we’ve featured so many weddings from there, all with their own individual style, and all of them have looked gorgeous!

Hannah & Luke’s big day looks like such a joyful occasion and we love the soft, golden light that seems to flood every image – Karina at Richmond Pictures by Karina Lax has done a fabulous job of capturing every special moment, and there were lots and lots of them! Come and take a look…

Rachel & Matthew

Classic elegance is the perfect way to sum up this morning’s wedding for it possesses these two qualities in abundance. Rachel and Matthew tied the knot at Farbridge near Chichester amongst a backdrop of cute flower girls, ruffled wedding cakes, adoring guests and glamorous neutral decor.

Can we just take a moment to feast our eyes on Rachel’s Jesus Peiro dress complete with THAT bow. Immense. Oh and appreciation needs to be shown for the bridesmaids’ ensemble – composed of a skirt and top rather than the traditional dress. We think they look ruddy gorgeous!

I’ll let Rachel tell you all about the handmade flower walls which are hands down the best backdrop I’ve ever seen. I’m also green with envy over her DIY skills. And the flower girls? How FLIPPING cute are they!!
