Weddings come in all shapes and sizes, and Emma and Ned’s nuptials are proof that if you don’t want to do things the ‘traditional’ way, you don’t have to. This wonderful wedding, shot by RMW recommended photographer Johnny Dent, boasts some of the best DIY décor we’ve ever seen – just take a look at the homemade Edison bulb floral installation – and a ceremony which involves beer. Yes, beer. Find a groom, and a bride for that matter, who is not on board with that. Cheers!
This rustic barn wedding, filled with gorgeous details and Caribbean influenced music and food choices will definitely put a big smile on your face. Partly because Natalie and Callem didn’t stop smiling all day and their joy is infectious, and partly because everything just looks SO beautiful. The styling is perfect for this barn wedding venue, I love how the neutral toned bridesmaids dresses pair with the brown groomsmen suits too. Total boho wedding goals.
Images come from the fabulous Ania Ames, whose work we’ve featured several times here on RMW. In fact once you’ve enjoyed Natalie and Callem’s day, you can browse Ania’s work here. She has a magical way with light, as you’re about to see…
I can’t even begin to tell you how in LOVE with this wedding I am. Largely because it’s in my neck of the woods and secondly because it features SO many talented suppliers including the lovely Natalie Hewitt Wedding & Event Planner who executed this industrial barn wedding to perfection.
She helped bride and groom Natalie & Jack inject their much desired glamour and sophistication into the natural setting of their venue, with an epic suspended wedding cake by Couture Cakes (whose gorgeous wedding we featured on these very pages too) and an immense floral installation by Jay Archer. There was also a seriously cool chill out area with vintage sofas and chandeliers, and I just love the wooden door seating plan. All of which I have a feeling will be pinned within an inch of their lives, so be warned.
Jeni Smith Photography not only captured all the decor and details for us to pore over and pin, she also, captured all the magic between this wonderful couple. Have you seen those teary eye wedding ceremeony moments yet? And as far as fashion goes, ALL the heart eyes for the brides Naomi Neoh gown and bridesmaids blush pink Coast separates.
I have serious hair envy. The fact that Bride Alice can pull off a top knot on her wedding day is giving me major green eyes. I wish I looked that cool with my hair piled on top of my head!!! And while we’re on the subject, I have serious dress envy too. Inbal Dror gowns are the stuff of Bridal dreams and Alice totally owns hers.
The whole day is so effortlessly stylish, but looks really fun too – which is obviously just the best combination for a wedding day. Alice & Steven have known each other since they were tiny and so their families have been in each others lives for a long time too and I think you can see that from the photographs. Plus the couple held their wedding at Alice’s parents stunning barn, so naturally things felt like home.
It really is a lovely wedding and the images from Gem at Cotton Candy Photography tell the story of the day perfectly…
