Sheila & George

Sheila and George’s wedding day is one of the most beautifully styled weddings I’ve seen this year. The warm and inviting colour palette, the gorgeous wild looking floral arrangements, the textural elements like concrete and coloured grasses, just make everything truly unique and personal to the couple. Then there’s the relaxed London restaurant setting! This is clearly a wedding of a couple who know themselves and their relationship well. Susie at Knot & Pop was on hand to bring their ideas to life and wow – what an incredible job she has done. The wedding not only looked stylish but guests were treated to a fabulous occasion too. Style and substance is what we’re all about, so this wedding is right up our street.

The wonderful Miss Gen took the photographs and there were so many gorgeous images and details, I’ve included far more than usual for you to pore over. Enjoy this one beauties, it’s a stunner of a wedding from start to finish.

So Many Rules, So Many To Break…

We’re passing the blog over to Susie from Knot & Pop this afternoon, members of our Love Lust List handpicked supplier guide, to talk about breaking the rules…one of our favourite topics. Susie is a Wedding Planner and Stylist who has worked on some seriously beautiful weddings so it’s a pleasure to share her words with you all today, along with an exclusive discount on her services for RMW readers.

Wedding etiquette can seem endless.

But where did it all come from? Many traditions are centuries old, but this is the 21st century and, thankfully, times have changed.

Considering wedding etiquette and its confines – especially those that might seem outdated, over played and slightly irrelevant to your life and tastes – let it provide the opportunity to break away from the rules traditionally set.

Some traditions are lovely experiences and give good structure to the day, but you’re in charge; you can either go with them, ditch them or give them a twist.

Painted Lady {You Give Me Butterflies}

I know I’m saying this a lot at the moment, but I *think* this might be my favourite styled shoot of all time (shhhhh, don’t tell anyone)…

In all seriousness though, the wealth of creative talent we have in the UK Wedding Industry is incredible and it feels like our suppliers have really come into their own of late. If you click the Wedding Ideas tab above this post, you’ll see a host of dreamy shoots to inspire you and today’s just continues on the theme of totally knocking it out of the park. Knot & Pop are wedding planners and stylists we’ve had our eyes on for a while, so we’re thrilled that they have joined our Love Lust List. Susie and her team have incredible style and their work is always organic yet opulent, cohesive but never over styled. Throw in flowers by Jo Flowers, stationery by Lamplighter London and some of the most beautiful dresses we’ve seen, including designs by Halfpenny London, and you’ve got some of the most stylish people in the industry working together.

The whole shoot is a delight from start to finish, the level of detail is second to none and the fashion and beauty choices are spot on too. Enjoy this one lovelies, it really is a feast for the eyes…
