French destination weddings will always be in fashion; who wouldn’t want to say ‘I do’ amidst land that oozes love? Amy & Tim’s wedding weekend has us weak at the knees, with every picture perfect detail adding its own je ne sais quoi: from the incredible venue to the beautiful dress to the sensational styling – just look at that cornucopia of candles! – this catalogue of captures shows that heaven truly is a place on earth. Oh, and we haven’t even mentioned the Aperol spritz bar. Someone catch me before I fall even more head over heels.
Apparently the saying goes if you have rain on your day you are being blessed. It represents fertility, cleansing and unity and who doesn’t want these things as you’re about to embark on a new chapter in your life.
Yagmur & Alex must have been truly blessed with the amount of rainfall they encountered at their Spanish destination wedding, not that you’d know from all the smiles and happiness captured by Padilla & Rigau. The dreamy umbrella portraits could easily be mistaken for parasols.
I literally can not express how excited I get sharing our Wednesday afternoon destination weddings with you. The team are often inundated with texts saying look at this! And todays outdoor Italian wedding was no exception. The words ‘holy moly’, ‘immense’ and ‘wowsers’ filled my inbox when they saw the open air church and beautifully styled loooong trestle table under a copy of festoon lights and stemmed florals by Diverso Event Design.
Giuseppe Marano has truly connected with our gorgeous couple (who I have to say look absolutely stunning in Dolce and Gabanna and Laure de Sagazan), to bring you heart felt images of a breathtaking wedding full of love, family and inspiration you’ll want to enjoy time and time again.
So sit back relax and get those pinning fingers at the ready.
