Wild Coastal Elopement Bridal Inspiration at New Barton Barns, Devon

There’s something so tranquil about being by the ocean. The cool blue water, grey skies, and billowing wind sets the scene beautifully for this wild coastal elopement bridal inspiration at New Barton Barns in Devon.

Add the texture of the exposed brick in the farmhouse, mixed with the luxury of the tablescape, including taper candles, fine linens, and an immense floral installation, and you have some beautiful bridal inspiration to feast your eyes upon. All captured to perfection by Liberty Pearl Photography and Film who’s beautiful captures we just can’t get enough of at Rock My HQ, including this real bride and groom elopement in Devon.

Alice & Luke

Ibiza truly is a magical place. The relaxed boho vibes, the warmth, the music and the tangerine sunsets for which it is famed, all perfect. I can absolutely understand why people get married there.

Alice & Luke packed their sensational wedding into an Ibiza capsule filled with music, food, friendship, love and dancing, of course, dancing.

Amber of Liberty Pearl captures the fun on the wedding day of this three-day celebration.

Davina & Angus

How utterly gorgeous is this? I’m sure there are moments for everyone while planning a wedding where they wish they could elope, and while Davina and Angus stayed close to home, they had an elopement of sorts, with an intimate celebration for close family and friends on a stunning Devon beach. The resulting images from Amber at Liberty Pearl are just so special, absolutely something to treasure for years to come.

Stunning bride Davina runs a swimwear company (Zennor Bikini – check them out for British-made mermaid bikinis of dreams) so naturally she wanted a hand in creating her dress. Along with Michele Ann May, the creative duo made the elegant long sleeved gown you see in the photographs.

Lindsay & Jack

Goodness me how beautiful is this venue?! I don’t know how I haven’t stumbled across Anran before, but it’s giving me all the heart eyes this morning. Lindsay and Jack chose it as the place to hold their Christmas wedding as it offered lots of accommodation for guests, it could be exclusively hired AND it’s rather gorgeous to boot. SO many different spaces to explore. The glasshouse where the pair held their reception is just stunning.

So without further ado, let’s enjoy this beautifully styled, family focused Christmas wedding, it’s definitely a heart warmer. Thank you to the lovely Amber at Liberty Pearl Photography for sending it to us!

Wedding Photography Workshop On The Cornish Coast

We regularly sing the praises of attending creative workshops here on RMW, as although most of our gorgeous readers are brides, lots of you are also budding wedding industry professionals (some are both)! So when the super stylish Elle, of Inspire Hire contacted me about a creative photography workshop she’s hosting, along with Amber of Liberty Pearl Photography and Renate of WIT Photography, I knew I had to share.

The workshop will be full of practical advice about building your photography brand, attracting the couples you’d like to be shooting, social media best practices and getting your work published. These workshops sell out fast and tickets for day one are already gone, but if you’d like to attend the 6th April course, read on for more details…

A Cornish Country Wedding.

Now I know I’m slightly biased, living in Cornwall and all that, but I really do LOVE this mornings wedding.

Lydia and Michael married at idyllic Cornish venue The Green, in an outdoor ceremony surrounded by their family and friends.

The styling is just so pretty – there’s an abundance of flowers in blue Bombay Sapphire bottles, metres and metres of bunting and rustic hessian table runners.

The couple chose a great menu for a summer’s day, lots of salads, a DIY eton mess and a hog roast in the evening to top-up empty tummies.

There are also some seriously epic photo booth images from this wedding – it looks like Lydia and Michael’s guests had a absolute blast.
