Get ready to sigh a big ahhh when you hear all the creative and thoughtful touches this Summer wedding includes. From personalised goblet favours to home baked brownie towers, plus the bride and grooms adorable page boy son, who almost steals the show.
You don’t need me to tell you that weddings are expensive. One of the things I love seeing most in the real weddings we feature is the mix of high street and artisan details – you lovely people are brilliant at combining both in a stylish way, so I know you’re pretty savvy at saving pennies. I think I speak for all of us when I say that M&S is the one Great British store that you can always rely on. I’m a firm fan of their underwear, I shop there for my little girl and their beauty department is all rather too easy to browse…
M&S have recently launched their online Wedding Shop and as well as being FULL of gorgeous fashion, food, flowers, stationery, decor and gifts – there are some great resources for planning too, like a Wedding Planning Countdown and Checklist, easy to navigate fashion guides with quick links to products, a Wedding Cake Masterclass and a Modern Day Wedding Etiquette guide.
Possibly one of the most creative wedding themes I have ever witnessed – and I have seen a lot. Hannah and Simon created a “great partnerships” theme including some of the expected greats such as Romeo and Juliet to Del-Boy and Rodney and Ross and Rachel (!)…..GENIUS. The groom even hand drew and painted all of the centre piece cool couple illustrations himself, quite the talent. And the perfect unique addition to such a spectacular display of statement florals.
The backdrop of the ever popular venue Cripps Barn was beautiful, as are the portraits captured by The Love Lust List member David Wickham at Modern Vintage Weddings. And Hannah’s Suzanne Neville gown? the epitome of timeless elegance and sophistication.

Well this morning’s beautiful couple are one stylish pair. Bride Natasha wears the stunning Eden Jenny Packham gown and looks absolutely incredible in it and Groom Matthew looks equally dapper in his mixed tweed Ted Baker suit & bow tie.
Cleverly fusing their love for their urban city life and their country roots they stumbled across a beautiful rustic barn in an industrial location. And I have to say it’s the most fabulous venue and couldn’t be more perfect for them. Scrolling through the pictures you’ll see perfect portraits captured with picturesque rural backdrops and raw industrial beauty. It’s kinda of like getting two weddings for the price of one!
I haven’t even mentioned how absolutely amazing all the array of high street pastel Bridesmaid dresses are yet and the hand picked meadow bouquets are just beaut!
Emma and Kate clearly know how to marry in style. This gorgeous pair chose Hyde Bank Farm, inspired by Emma’s own fond memories of growing up on a farm to say ‘I Do’ surrounded by an adoring family and hordes of sunshiny yellow sunflowers.
From the effortlessly beautiful Gypsophila bouquets, the hazy sunlit portraits of Emma and Kate on the farm to their navy clad bridesmaids, I guarantee that you’ll find something that you just can’t help but pin from this big day.
Let’s take a look.
It’s the weekend so we thought we’d fill your hearts with romantic tales , grand gestures and an epic engagement shoot…
Winnie & Robin chose the gorgeous Cotswolds countryside for their engagement shoot with talented Terry Li Photography capturing all the loveliness. It literally couldn’t have be more perfect; the rustic location with roaming animals and plaid shirts, then the quaint grand castle and glamorous attire.
The tranquil village is SO romantic and dreamy and Winnie & Robin are the cutest couple so evidently in love, it just swells the heart.
I’ve had lots of fun putting this together for you lovely lot, why I hear you ask? Well because Lorna & Dave had a fabulous music themed wedding and every time I stumbled across some lyrics or a song title I just couldn’t resist bursting into song! Their invitations were even customised CD’s with a soundtrack to their lives. So adorable….and erm where can I get one?
This laid back city wedding in Leeds just oozed so much style. Dave had a gorgeous three piece navy suit tailor made and Lorna, well Lorna (fabulous name btw) she wore the most adorable Alan Hannah tea length dress with a stunning cape and fabulous glittering gold Red or Dead shoes peeking out at the bottom.
Now there’s one thing I need to mention before I leave you to marvel in all this beauty & love and that’s the flowers. I had to restrain myself from including all of the pics as they are all truly stunning. Especially Lorna’s bouquet, which I swear each angle I looked at it, it looked different and I noticed more pretty blooms.

I literally adore the raw beauty of the Asylum in London. It’s rugged paintwork, exposed brick and stain glass windows bring SO much character and charm to a wedding ceremony and the abundance of church candles placed at the altar are the perfect finishing touches to soften the mood of this fabulous urban venue.
There is a black and white image of the Groom sitting at the altar waiting for his Bride staring off into space with a slight smile on his face that literally made me sigh as I can only imagine all the lovely things he must be thinking. As I continued through the images and saw the beam on his face when his Bride did arrive I think my heart skipped a beat! I absolutely delight in perfectly captured moments like these, and take my hat off to the super talented Mister Phill for making me grin like a Cheshire cat alongside them. I challenge you to not feel the same… you just can’t! A simply adorable couple having the time of their lives on their wedding day.
