Lillian West Wedding Dress for Stylish Wedding with DIY Decor

BUDGET £10 – 15K

Being creatives, Abbie and Carnell designed the majority of their wedding themselves, (with the exception of Abbie’s stunning Lillian West dress). Ensuring each element of their wedding was relevant to them as a couple, they took inspiration from their hobbies, memories and even made origami swans as decoration – symbolising their first date at ‘The Swan’ pub! The bride and groom also decided to sit their guests with people they wouldn’t normally meet – encouraging everyone to mingle and chat! We love that each aspect of this wedding showcased the couples individual style and their relationship together. So, if you’re looking for a little inspiration when designing your own wedding, perhaps don’t look too far…

Layered Wedding Dress & Hanging Foliage Installation at Pub Celebration

BUDGET £25-30K

An beautiful pub wedding in Henley-on-Thames for this couple with a traditional church ceremony was followed by a marquee in their ‘non-wedding venue’ – the couple purposefully chose somewhere that wasn’t marketed as a wedding venue so they could put their own stamp on it, and boy did they do that! Beautiful sage green fabric signs decorated the marquee with pampas grass and foliage installations (made by the bride herself as she used to be a wedding florist!) hanging above the wooden banquet tables where the guests dined. A quirky photo booth where the bride, who wore a layered wedding dress, and groom captured funny moments with their closest friends and family!

Hobbit Hill Wedding with Marquee Reception and White Flower Crown

BUDGET £30 – 35K

Bertie and Paul created the most fun-filled, relaxed festival style wedding at Hobbit Hill. The bride’s boho style works so well with the outdoor theme and was topped off with her beautiful white floral headpiece, teamed with her two-piece gown and a veil which was extra special as it belongs to the groom’s Grandma. Paul donned a tweed suit incorporating natural, muted colours, which were a nod to their love of the countryside. Their styling was simple and relaxed with some special details including handmade elements and floral arrangements. The aim was to create an outdoor festival party where everyone could let their hair down in such a breathtaking location and they certainly succeeded, the evening finished the whole day off perfectly with fireworks over the beautifully lit marquee surrounded by magical woodland.

After the church ceremony, the couple slipped on their wellington boots for the short walk to reception where the Alpaca wedding guests were waiting! White Rose Bouquet for Summer Church Wedding with Tipi Reception

BUDGET £30 – 35K

Eleanor and Alastair opted for a traditional English country wedding featuring a beautiful white rose bouquet. The day began with a church ceremony and an epic confetti exit before travelling in style to a relatives garden for a summer tipi reception. All the flowers were home-grown including the pretty table arrangements styled with a wild meadow theme and a touch of bold colour. Along with the beautiful flowers the couple also dressed the tipi with fairy lights and had black and white polaroid images hung with pegs creating such a personalised touch. Making the most of their rural surroundings the couple stole a moment away from the celebration and created the most beautiful sunset shots, all in all, a wonderful, joy-filled day captured by Carrie Lavers Photography.

August 2020 Wedding with Social Distancing Signs and Dried Flowers

BUDGET £25 – 30K

Becca and Tom went ahead with their originally planned August 2020 wedding date but adapted their day to reflect the current government guidelines. They learnt that “big isn’t always better”. And, only being able to have a limited number of people meant they could talk to their guests and really enjoy their day and time with them. Even though the wedding was scaled down, the attention to detail is incredible. From Becca’s stunning Galia Lahav wedding dress, through to the social distance signs and impressive floral arrangements, Darina Stoda Photography has captured them all and you’re going to love it! Not to mention all the emotion that these two boho babes were able to get married.
