Jen & Roshan

The very lovely SJ Ethan and her husband Matt are photographers who grace these pages very frequently. We love their light and bright style, it’s soft and romantic and they always capture a great range of natural, reportage style shots, as well as fun and happy group shots.

But this wedding is a rather special one, with both of them taking it in turns to shoot, as Jen just happens to be SJ’s sister 🙂 I love the handmade, rustic feel to her and Roshan’s big day, there’s a lovely homely, welcoming vibe in all of the photographs and Jen looks stunning in her gown too. Look out for the epic dessert table and sweet bar. Oh and the dreamy couple shots amid the Spring blossom – all the heart eyes.

Emily & Luke

One of the biggest and most beautiful trends for this year has been hanging florals – where single stems are hung upside down and grouped together to create the most gorgeous arrangements. Make sure you have a good look inside Emily and Luke’s tipi as their hanging floral display is simply beautiful, all candy shades and lovely textures.

Ever the gent, Luke surprised Emily on the morning of the wedding with a pair of Manolo Blahnik flat sandals – because whatever shoes you’re wearing – whether heels or flats – they need to be special on your wedding day. Lots of the couples suppliers are some of our very favourites who you’ll find over on our supplier directory, The Love Lust List. Enjoy gorgeous ones, it’s such a pretty day, showcasing some excellent North East wedding talent…

Hannah & Alex

I love a good old London knees up wedding and today’s comes from a rather special venue, the London Rowing Club in Putney. Now I don’t know what it is about rowing clubs, but some of the best parties I’ve been too have happened in them…why is that?! Your guess is as good as mine, and no, I’m sure it’s got nothing to do with muscly men. Nothing at all.

Hannah and Alex’s big day is beautifully styled by the bride and beautifully shot by RMW fave Matt Ethan. And I must mention the blooms, which were put together by an amazing charity collective run by a lady called Steph Merton, who arrange the flowers for weddings and events for the love of it and donate their fees to charity. What a lovely idea. Also, one final mention – Hannah and Alex served vegan food for their big day, so if anyone is on the look out for vegan suppliers then do check out their recommendations.

Laura & David

If you’re dreaming of your summer holidays and longing to feel the sand on your toes, then this mornings wedding just might satisfy your needs. Located at Budle Bay in the North East is this stunning white on white marquee wedding.

Plus have you seen bride Laura’s boho bridal look yet? Not only is her Yolan Cris lace gown utterly divine, but she also has the most beautiful Jenny Packham headdress framing her relaxed wavy hair.

Capturing all the emotion and pretty is the fabulous Matt Ethan Photography who’s fine art style fits perfectly with this dreamy day.

Alex & Ian

There is one thing this gorgeous wedding by the sea has, and that’s an abundance of pretty. Whether it be wild country blooms, boho dresses, rustic crates or vintage glamour it all looks amazing, and you’re going to LOVE it.

Lets start with Alex’s Rembo Styling gown. The delicate lace details are exquisite and represent her free spirited nature perfectly. I love the portraits captured by Matt Ethan of her and Ian frolicking in the surf on the beach. Then there’s her gorgeous bridesmaids in pastel pink Phase Eight Dresses. And how can I forget dapper suits tailored by Ian’s father.

Newton Hall in Northumberland really does have it all. Shall we take a look? Best to get those pinning fingers at the ready.

Katie & Matt

The flowers, the flowers the FLOWERS!…. and the blue. It’s fast becoming one of my favourite W-day hues. Katie and Matt found a whole host of brilliant suppliers via our hand-picked directory, The Love Lust List including photographer Matt Ethan. It makes us beam with pride when we find out our personal recommendations have helped to create such a beautiful affair.

Think wild flower meadow-esque styling but with a quirky fashion twist, we’re in love with all of the pretty details!

Kate & James

Now that all the Christmas and New Year celebrations are over you’d be forgiven for thinking that you have nothing left to look forward to in this cold and dreary month. Banish those January blues with this glitzy glamorous black tie do from Kate and James who married at Yorebridge House last year amongst a backdrop of glitter.

There are gold sequinned bridesmaid dresses (immense!) a chocolate cake that will blow away even the most fervent chocoholics amongst us and probably the most romantic table florals I have seen in a long long time. If you love sequins and off-white blooms then you’ll need your pinning fingers at the ready!

I particularly love the images of Kate and James against the trees and green grass; their love for each other just pours out of the screen. Beautiful!

You just have to see our Brides gorgeous Tilly Jenny Packham gown with delicate beaded cap sleeves; and the simply divine Juliet cap veil made by the Mother of the Bride compliments it perfectly. I seriously can’t stop swooning over this stunning bridal look as well as the gorgeous array of high street neutral Bridesmaid fashion on display.

Another thing I simply adore is the utterly fabulous Devonshire Terrace in London. Decorated in collected DIY jam jars wrapped in twine and filled with daisies, thistles and gypsophila stems, converting a contemporary venue into a dreamy vintage haven.

There’s lots of pin-spiration folks, so get ready and enjoy.

Regine & Matt

I am absolutely in awe of this stunning secret garden wedding, planned in, wait for it…….. just 8 weeks! It’s dreamy, it’s beautiful and it looks like the perfect intimate celebration with family and friends.

I love all the DIY decor and wild flowers that fill the outdoor marquee reception at Castle Cottage Cafe and our Brides lace and tulle ‘Love Marley’ Watters gown is soo ethereal and fits the theme perfectly.

Complete with afternoon tea and a fabulous Marks and Spencer wedding cake decorated in yet more delicate florals, this wedding will have you swooning and dreaming of summer and romance.
